Did they give you the adjusted CAP cost, after rolling everything in? If not, we are just guessing. GA dealers can throw in some pretty big dealer fees.

They didn't. But what's normal? This dealer prides Itself on being a straight shooter. No hidden fees. I guess what is payment based on MSRP plus taxes and fees rolled in.

    .00152 MF and 58% residual for 36/15.

If I take the $52099 and add the $3200 negative equity, I get a payment of $671/mo. You say 0 out of pocket, but then say the taxes are paid upfront? Are you paying the taxes upfront, or rolling them into the CAP cost? Are you making a first payment?

Need to ask for the adjusted CAP cost, so you can see exactly what you are paying for. $671/mo. is a long way from $840/mo.

I am rolling everything into CAP COST... Zero drive off.
So I imagine we are talking
    $52,099 + $3200 neg equity + $1500 taxes + $300 in misc fees

If I add all of that in, including the first payment, I get around $820/mo. for 36 months... That's not far off, since we are estimating a lot of numbers.

Here is what I was offered today:
    2016 Suburban LT 2wd
    MSRP 62515
    Sale price 58015
    Lease cash 4600
$5000 down total including first payment and tt&l
    39 month $621

With a money factor of .00152 and residual of 58%, shouldn't the payment be closer to $560?
  • crazydog1crazydog1 Member Posts: 5
Also, how much is the acquisition fee?
  • crazydog1crazydog1 Member Posts: 5

Really need to know the adjusted CAP cost, so we can do the calculation. The residual for 36/12 is 60%.

Where does the $4600 lease cash come from?

GM Financial acquisition fee is $595

    Hello,

May I get the August MF and residuals for 2016 Chevy Suburban LTZ (4WD) for 12k/yr for 24 mo and 36mo in MN?

I also see $1000 customer cash from Chevy AND $1500 Loyalty Cash (I currently lease). Is that correct?

    Thanks!

What does the residual go up to with 10k/yr for 24 mo and 36 mo respectively? Does Chevy release Sept. numbers in time for Labor Day Weekend sales?

12K/yr to 10K/yr, add 1% to residual, for either term.

A new program starts on Thursday. We don't always get the numbers right away, but we might.

Thanks! Was gonna let my deal go, but got a call tonight with new improved offer. Want to wait and see what the MF and residual is on 10k & 12k/yr 36mo lease is before I counter or walk again. Not impressed with Chevy's terms right now. Also, if you get a line on incentives for Labor Day weekend, let me now. Thanks again!

    kyfdx,

I'm getting a quote of 0.00122 and a residual of 52% for a Suburban LTZ 4WD for 12k/36mo for September numbers from the dealer. Is that incorrect?

    .00152 MF and 58% residual

    No clue on those incentives.

It appears that the numbers are the same for September
    kyfdx,

I'm getting a quote of 0.00122 and a residual of 52% for a Suburban LTZ 4WD for 12k/36mo for September numbers from the dealer. Is that incorrect?
Confirm the bank the dealer is using. We only have numbers from GM Financial.

Thanks! It is US Bank. A residual of 52% is ridiculous. I asked for running the lease through GM Financial instead, but apparently the rebates that are accessible are way less then. I have a 19% total discount right now which is really nice, but with a MF of 0.00122 and residual of 52%, the monthly payment is still too high.

Yep, third party banks often have nice incentives to go with the lousy lease numbers. Large SUVs are expensive to lease.

Hi, Interested in Suburban 2016 LT MSRP 58,240, Net Price of 54,000. What is the MF and Residual for 36/15 in Houston. What other info is relevant and necessary for the calculation of the monthly payment? Thanks

The only other number you need is the adjusted CAP cost. That's the selling price + any additions - any money paid upfront.

Be ready for Texas sales tax. You pay the 6.25% on the full selling price of the vehicle, even on a lease.

Payment seems incredibly low, given those numbers. Do you have a trade-in?

Thanks for responding. Nope, no trade in, only the $4K down. I thought it was very low also, but I have it in writing and ready to sign. Apparently this is one of those "tagged" vehicles that the dealership gets? Not sure if that is a gimmick or not, but it seemed to do something to lower the price. So i guess i shouldn't pass this deal up?
    Thanks again!

One more question: Is the MF affected by my Credit Score? How is it determined? DO not know if this is a good question or not.

Yes.. if your credit is not top tier, you'll pay a higher rate.

It seems lower than it should be, given the numbers. Must be some sort of big incentive on that unit. If that's the vehicle you want, I definitely would not pass it up.

    36/12 on 2016 Suburban LTZ is .00152 and 58%

Using your prices, I get $757/mo.

How is the trade equity being used?

I would apply it to the sale price of vehicle.

We don't recommend that; if the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.

Pay the non-taxable fees up front with the equity, and have the dealer cut you a check for the balance.
