Toyota Finance Company Lease

I am currently in a lease through Toyota Financial. Do I have to return my vehicle to a Toyota dealership? Toyota Financial website states two options, buy your current lease vehicle or lease a new Toyota. What if I don't want to do either of these. Are there other options they are just choosing not to advertise?

You have to return the vehicle somewhere. TFS uses dealerships to take lease returns. That doesn't mean you have to buy or lease another car.

Okay, I guess I should have worded that different....Do I have to turn it in at a Toyota dealership? Or can I go to a different car company dealership?

At that point, it would be a trade in, not a lease return.

Like any financed vehicle, a leased car has both a payoff amount and a trade value. If you take your car to a Mazda dealer, for example, they will get the payoff amount from Toyota Financial and offer you a trade value.

Your job is to know what those numbers are before you go anywhere. Call Toyota Financial to get the payoff, and use the "Real World Trade in Values" discussion to get an honest appraisal of the value of your car.

Yes.. a Toyota dealership, but you don't have to get another car, there. You can go anywhere you want for your next car.
