Ah, these are factory options, that are on the sticker.

The residual is based off the bottom line number of the window sticker, including destination.

I recently went to the dealership to trade in an old car for a new 2016 M4 lease (basically used the $8600 as down payment). Would you please comment on this whether it's a good deal or not?

This is a personalized new 2016 M4 with Competition package, lighting package. No executive package. MSRP on the BMW official website is the one listed on the paper.

Really appreciated.

I don't have any numbers for the 2017 M4, but I do agree with the math on the sheet. I do see that the MF for all 2017's I do have are .00138, so it's possible it's being marked up. Would save you about $15/mo

However, we do not recommend using trade equity as cap reduction - if the car is totaled or stolen, you lose that money.

Better to use it as MSD to buy down the MF - your payment is still reduced, but you get that money back at the end of the lease.

It's a 2016, but I'm not sure if there's a difference. The thing is, I left the dealer with a $800 per month payment, at that time the MF was .00139. As I was leaving they chased me down and gave me a new sheet with the $750 per month, but I see that the MF went up to .00150. I didn't pursue it much because in the end the monthly payment went down to by $50. I didn't see anything else different besides that, maybe they marked the 12k miles/yr down to 10k but I didn't keep a copy of the old sheet.

Also, do all dealers do MSD? And will having $0 downpayment with $8600 into MSD bring down the monthly payment to $750?

Overall, is this a decent deal? I'm kind of between this and just waiting for a good swapalease take over.

Hmm, I'd confirm with the dealer as the model year in your screen shot says 2017.

But, so far as I know, no difference in the numbers.

The dealer can play around with the numbers to get you a payment you want, but they may be making more money on the deal.

You want to negotiate your best selling price - for BMW, that's 5-7% off sticker, even on the M4.

All dealers should offer MSD - it's a financing option. And, probably wouldn't bring the payment down to $750/mo -- $8600 over three years is almost $240/mo, so your $750/mo payment becomes (gulp!), $990/mo

That's a lot of money to risk .. better to have the dealer cut you a check for the equity and use it to offset the higher payment.

Also, with a M4 that's configured to be around $78k MSRP, what's the typical monthly payment on a lease with $0 down? Is the $990 below average? I got them to lower the MSRP by about 5% it seems like.

BMW allows a maximum of 7 MSDs to be applied, each of which bring the MF down .00007 (.00049 total).

The size of each MSD is the monthly payment rounded up to the next highest $50 - for example, if the payment is $825, then the size of the deposit is $850 - 7 of them would be a total of $5950.

After reading about it, I'm thinking of going through with European Delivery, perhaps with the Performance Center Delivery. How much off the invoice (or MSRP) will I expect to save? Is there room to haggle after going through with these?

I think the ED invoice is 5% lower than the base US delivery invoice. That's the extra amount you have to play with.

I am taking European Delivery on July 15th and have purposely been waiting on firming up the financing, hoping rates will get more attractive.

For ED, which fees are negotiable and which ones are set? Dealer fees, delivery fees, etc? Las Vegas area is insane, I was just told by BMW of Henderson that they don't negotiate from MSRP on ED because of the already 5% discount. What a load of BS.

Yeah.. you need a better dealer.

The MF is .00030 higher for ED, but one payment is waived.

There are plenty of CAs that specialize in ED, many of them in California, which isn't far away (really close by phone.. lol). If you peruse some of the BMW-specific forums, you can get some recommendations. It might not be the cheapest deal, but it will be fair, and you can find someone that will be honest with you.

What do you guys think of this quote.
They only gave me $2000 of the MSRP this was by email, I'm hopping to get a little more once I visit the dealership.
Also the MF they gave me was .00157.
How can I get the base .00137? What should I tell them to get a lower MF.
I do have tier 1 credit.

How much is due at signing? Is the $1500 rebate covering all of it? What is the tax rate there?

Negotiating involves asking for what you want, and knowing what you are willing to settle for.

If it were me, I'd want $4500 off MSRP and the base rate of .00137
