I was offered an Accord EX CVT for $22,900 including destination. I offered 22,100 but was declined.

Well if they actually let you walk out the door, and didn't call you back to work you over again, then you were definitely too low. Was this for a 2016? If so, that's $2000 under invoice @ $22,900.
