Also saw a Leaf. Still rare here.
And a Veloster.
Been seeing more and more of them in my neck of the woods, guess they are selling well.
2025 Ram 1500 Laramie 4x4 / 2023 Mercedes EQE 350 4Matic
and it hasn't hurt Accent sales...
and it hasn't hurt Rio sales...
I'm sure they've had to hire more accountants to count all the profits on that cash cow.
Oh, and the XC90 seems to be a pretty long lasting vehicle as well, I see a ton of them on the road as well, most of them the older T-5 and 3.2 models. My wife and I were actually driving to the Cape last weekend and we were literally sharing the highway with (5) XC90's at the same time! I also looked over at the traffic heading the opposite direction adn saw (2) more at the same time...
I don't know if it is indicative of the overall state of Volvo at the moment, but I am glad to see they are still selling well as I have always really like the style and that minimalist Scandanvian interior sheme. :shades:
Also, seeing a few more of those new Passats. I don't know... ya, it's a little more generic than the older Passats, but for some reason it just looks more solid and the details really make it a handsome vehicle, especially in Black when it's been detailed up.
Got passed by a CC yesterday as well. One of the best looking cars on the road IMO. At least in the under 40k pricepoint
I think the Q5 is much nicer looking, and of course costs more.
From what I gather, the new Escape can get into the middle thirties as well, so the price isn't unnusual.
I used to like the Q5, but the S-Line is really the only trim I like and that sucker is almost 50 grand :surprise: Yikes. I'd rather get an afformentioned XC60-T6 and 60 thousand miles of maintainence for 41-42 grand. I think the Q uses premium as well if I am not mistaken?
And yes, I am way the heck older than their target demo, but that never stopped me before! Though my wife might have a cow if I brought one of them home.

I like the way the 19" wheels look, but that's a crazy size for that size vehicle...
Saw a new Acura ZDX today.. they are not growing on me....

Edit: Just noticed the upgraded Nav with touchscreen is in that price as well. Still the SEL Premium gets a Navi which is what I would get.
I do agree tho that 35 grand for a compact ute is a bit much.
Co-worker has one. They're quite nice, if a bit on the small side. She replaced her BMW X3 with one. Hubby has an Audi A8. They use the A8 for trips. She commutes to DC in her Q5.
Then a White Fiat Abarth, are they on sale yet? :confuse:
Yes they are.
Only Lux CUV owning working woman who can drive stick in the whole world, pretty much.
Saw a facelift Taurus today, I wager a rental.
753 CR-Vs and 986 Camrys.
Old school - spotted one of those Olds Cutlass Supremes from the "this is not your father's Oldsmobile" era.
GM really missed with those GM10s. A big, FWD 2 door when everybody pretty much wanted the exact opposite.
lol, You beat my score by a dozen Camry's but I think I've seen a hundred more CR-V's than you
Heard an ad for a local dealer, $19,999 plus freight for a Camry, but the Altima was $16,999. Same dealer, too.
Talk about a bargain....they've gotta be losing money at $17k.
Redone 2013 Nissan Altima pricing, sale date, details (USA Today)
$17k is cheap.
Scratch that, gas is almost free again. They won't care until the next time gas prices spike (consumers are naive and think short-term).
$17k plus freight and $89 processing, IIRC. Still dirt cheap. Those are big sedans.
My buddy in Annapolis has one. The seat's way too low for my tastes, hard to get in and out of. The CVT is actually good, Nissan should teach other companies how to get those right. His stereo is also quite good, and it's not even a loaded model. Decent car overall and a real bargain at that price.
The Nissan NV is a box. It could be the box a Leaf came in.
These things make 60s Dodge vans seem downright sexy!
But buyers will probably overlook that if it comes down to the pricetag.

That is a serious deficiency I've noticed on several Toyota's since I'm over 6ft tall. I can't get comfortable with the sunroof, so it precludes me from considering something like a Camry other than the base models since leather requires a sunroof. Base model Toyota's sometimes seem a bit short in thigh support as well on longer drives. I've also found some of the Ford's lack legroom for taller drivers. Luckily, there are lots of choices out there, so it pays to test drive thoroughly or rent before you buy.
Just saw her, she showed me a receipt for a brake job: $978.
Ridiculous. It's 2 years old with 16k miles, a grand for brakes already?
No wonder they need 2 incomes.
Edit: IIRC front pads for my NA Miata were under $20. Later a rebuilt rear caliper was $30 something. I guess Hans needed to make the next boat payment.
Things like this make me very aware that I will never own a German car.
I know that there is a possibly the dealer is very expensive and replaced more than necessary, but still. :confuse:
2025 Ram 1500 Laramie 4x4 / 2023 Mercedes EQE 350 4Matic
$85 parts
$120 labor
$773 for Hans' boat
His tires are also over $300 each. Would have been $3 grand for tires and a brake job.
Probably wears the brakes to stop all that inertia of the giant wheels/tires it came with.

As a Toyota, it would be a Celica.

I was there a couple of days ago, but didn't walk around much.
Maybe it was there. It's a top 'o the line Titanium model.
There's $500 customer cash available.

I like your version better.
I looked at Holman Maple Shade and they don't have any either.
