Hello, About to go inquire about a lease at dealer/broker on 2016 Kia Sedona SXL V6 with no package in NY. Can you please give a range in monthly payment I should be looking for longest monthly term with smallest possible milage with zero down? Thanks in advance, Edgar

Can't give you that information without MSRP and selling price.

If you are going to shop by lease payments with a broker, you won't know if you can beat it, until you shop dealers, as well. Most people use a broker, because they don't want to do that.

MSRP is $44,195. It's the SXL with AWD. I have more brokers than dealerships here in nyc, just easier but i can drive to other states to dealer lots of necessary for best/lowest price. They work with out of state dealers anyway for their inventory. Thanks again. Edit: oh and fair market value according to kbb is ~41k, please consider that

.00013 MF and 52% residual for 36mo, 10K/yr. $3500 lease cash.

If I use $2500 of the lease cash to cover taxes, fees and all other upfront charges, resulting in a CAP cost of $40K, then the payment would be $481/mo.

Thanks very much for the calculation. I'm assuming those numbers r only good for March. Has it been around the same in past couple of month? And do u think it roll stay similar thru summer? Will it get drastically cheaper when they announce the 2017 model? When do u think that will be? I have time and want to use it to my advantage as leverage for good pricing. Thanks again sir.

No way to predict what will happen to the numbers later this year. It's possible that the numbers will improve as Kia gets closer to releasing the 2017.

Hello kyfdx,

Can u please help me better understand the monthly payment of $481 u provided above?

I used the Edmonds lease calc and I get $100 more a month when using RV 52% of 40k CAP cost and 0.00013 MF. I realize the calc factors in tax but tax can't be $100/mo, right? Was there something I missed maybe or am I not understanding the math/calculation? 

Just want to be properly equipped when at dealer. Always let the broker figure all that out and this time want to see if I can negotiate a better deal myself direct. But first want took understand thoughtfully in case they do offer a good deal so I can jump on it with confidence.

Also,
I did remove the fees and any incentive/rebates to keep the CAP at 40k. Assuming tax gets tacked on according to the zip code I enter but still not coming anything close to ur provided number.
