    Is it 36 months?

If so, .00130 MF and 60% residual.

Doesn't seem real cheap. What is the MSRP? And, what state/tax rate?

For 36/15, I get $517/mo.+tax, assuming your $2000 covers all of your upfront fees (and, it should.. easily).

Of course, if they are adding in $1400 to pay off your current vehicle, that will add about $40/mo., so that's putting you closer to their number.

If I add the accessories to the selling price, I get $449/mo using the .00130 MF and 63% residual. Your quote looks good by comparison.

Thanks, I went ahead and bought it today at 423. Dealer told me that he would not add the accessories to the MSRP and I was able to negotiate to get those for free. I hope I got a good deal

What is the adjusted cap cost?

As is, your numbers give me $675/mo.

Base MF is .00130, so the dealer is marking that up. MF increase is adding almost $50 to your payment.

I live in south Florida and am wondering if this is a good deal I should consider:

    RX350 RWD 2016
    MSRP: $58650
    Negotiated Price: $54500
    MF: .00130
    Residual: 64%
    12K/36months
    6% tax
    $617 per month ($582 plus 6% taxes)

I am paying $3500 cap cost reduction at closing, $355 for title and licensing, and $699 dealer fee at closing for $4554 due at closing.

I know I would lose the $3500 if the car got totaled, but at the end of the day, does cap cost reductions make any sense?

Also, does anyone know what the residual would be if I went to 15K a year?

    Thanks.

Does anyone know what discount/incentive I should receive on the deal above if I prepay the lease in full? Is this a good idea?

    Thanks.

I get $591/mo.+tax using your negotiated price, without any CAP cost reduction.
I don't show any provision for 1st payment or acquisition fee in your numbers, though. Perhaps these are being added to the CAP cost, or subtracted from the $3500 before applying CCR to the gross CAP.

Residual drops 2% when going from 12K/yr to 15K/yr.

Cap cost reductions do save a small amount each month in finance charges, but mostly serve to make the monthly cost seem lower.

A single-pay lease gives a discount to the money factor. The lease is then re-calculated with the lower money factor, than the payments are added (plus fees, taxes, etc) and that is your Single-Pay amount.

Don't know Lexus details on the discounted money factor, but it can be a significant savings.

Thanks for the feedback kyfxd, what am I doing wrong with my calculations...

I was planning on paying the fees ($699 dealer fee, $355 titling and plate transfer fee) separately outside the lease. But for the calc above, there are included in line 4. Should they be? No provisions for first payment. Should there be?

Does anyone think is a bad deal, average deal, good deal or great deal? I'm not sure.

I have never leases before, so I'm not sure what the adjusted cap cost is, he told me $2500 down would cover 1st month payment of $695, and my state taxes which is 4.25% along with acquisition fee. I emailed the salesguy about the MF being higher he said he can lower payment by $50.00 so it would be $645mo

    I agree with your calculations.

If you want to pay the fees, etc up front, take that amount out of line 4. First payment is also due at lease signing, so not factored into the calcs.

We don't track selling prices, so can't comment on that.

The only variables in a lease are the selling price and the money factor. Negotiate the lowest selling price you can and make sure you get the base MF.

    Don't negotiate the payment.
