$6300 is a lot to put upfront on a lease.

Do you have any idea of the adjusted CAP cost?
Don't see any allowance for the acquisition fee, etc.
Does the price include sales tax.

Assuming this is a 2.0T model, the base MF is .00030
Can't check the residual, because I don't have 20K/yr numbers.

You could be right about the trade-in value. You can appraise it here at Edmunds. Looks like the spread is around $5,000 to $7,000 "depending".

I definitely feel good about the trade. I have a power window that doesn't work, a/c doesn't work, interior is beat, tire pressure sensor needs to be replaced, needs brakes, big door dent in the side. It's not in good shape at all, it's been through 7 years with 2 little boys.

Ok, figures in my OP include sales tax. There is no acquisition fee? Sales lady said that is a transparent offer, there are no other fees. I'll have to get adjusted cap as they didn't break down exact tax and tags, etc, just said it was included in the payment. This is a 2.0T.

    Thanks again.

We aren't disputing the trade value, but rather the fact that you're using it as a down payment. If the new car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.

Get the dealer to cut you a check for the equity in your trade, and use that money to offset the higher payment you'll end up with.

Basically, you are saying get a check for the trade and use it to make the payments?

.00030 and 59% are the base rates, so that's good that you're getting them.

Assuming the selling price is the cap cost, I get $349/mo; confirm the adjusted cap cost with the dealer.
