Could I please get the money factor and residual for a 2016 GTI S w/manual transmission for a 36-month lease for both 12,000 and 15,000 miles per year in Vermont? Are there any dealer incentives on these?

The car I was looking at was advertised with a discount of $3,500 off of MSRP. They quoted a money factor of 0.0013 and a residual of 58 percent for a 12,000 mile/year lease, and are including a $625 acquisition fee and $400 dealer doc fee.

All of those numbers are correct. There is $250 lease cash available.

$1000 dealer cash on a purchase and only $250 on a lease. That will add $750 to the advertised price..

July lease numbers and incentives please for a 2016 Golf GTI SE 4-door w/manual transmission with Lighting Package. I don't know if the Performance Package makes a difference to the lease terms, but I'd probably want to skip this package. 3 yr/36K miles in SoCal (90278 zip code).

Sales Tax: $1837.83
Registration, title, MVWR: $41
Documentation Fee: $699
Final: $28133.60

For leasing 36 months 12k miles, cash down is $2,349. They said they use 58% residual, but won't tell me the MF (they say based on A tier credit). Quoted me monthly lease $378 after tax.

Let me know if this sound right.

If the final number was the adjusted CAP cost, then $361/mo. But, with $2349 upfront it should be lower than that, right? 1st payment + $625 acquisition fee.. that leaves plenty left over for CAP cost reduction.

Ask them for the adjusted CAP cost and you might find that your "Final" number is not the same for your lease. Also, walk away if they don't disclose the money factor. They can base it on A-tier credit and still mark up the rate for extra profit.

Ok so I just shot their GM an email regarding the adj CAP and I got $26,831.59 - What do you think I should be paying every month instead?

Also for MF here is what I got:
"I will be glad to oblige however we are not in the habit of disclosing to our competitors (directly or indirectly) what figures we use in our calculations but everything will be disclosed to our customers at the time of sale when you meet with our finance department--I'm sure you can appreciate this. I will confirm that the residual is 57% or 17,011.65"
So again, even their GM won't tell me the MF.
