I like that tandem setup too, tandems seem somewhat hard to find around here - I remember looking at places and only finding that on rare occasion. So many buildings have one spot per unit, and a dearth of extra parking.
A garage like the one in that plan is just begging to be filled with $300 worth of yard sale rejects while $50K in cars sit exposed to the elements in the driveway.

Folks do that where I live - unopened moving boxes in the garage, new cars outside. And here it hails, newish Range Rover with hundreds of dents...I don't get it...
Same here, you can always tell on a rare snow day when you see the 100K cars covered in snow for the morning commute.
Come to think of it, most of my family is this way, too. The garage was often a "workshop" for my dad, my sister uses hers for their dogs, etc, while others like me wish they had more space for cars.

This talk of garages made me realize I could put the Alfa in the 3rd bay since that is where I had parked my EX35. But, of course, we are getting close to snow time and it is fairly critical to have my plowing tractor inside. Maybe in the Spring.

I don't mind the tandem garage setup and it allowed me to create a bit of a mancave in the back of it. The back of the garage has a door to the back yard so I bbq there in the summer.
It's my place to unwind, and when friends come over, us guys hang out down here, talk cars, and drink of course.
My bookshelves have all my vintage car magazines on it, and the shelf that the TV is on has all my car brochures sorted. And walls covered with years of car posters I collected at auto shows for the past 2 decades or so.
I don't even have enough space to hang all my toy cars so I have about 100 hot wheels in boxes to my son where he proudly hangs them in his room among shelves of 1:18 scale cars he's been collecting (he's only 9 but a car guy already).
Looking towards garage entrance.
Looking the opposite way towards entrance to back yard.
Looking to the right towards my nook and "office space".
Wide angle view including my nook with "office space", desk, and my car magazine collection.
I'll take better pictures when I tidy it up a bit.
Nice. With a tandem setup like that, I could cram in the fintail, modern car, and probably a bike or three, and some other junk too. Unfortunately, townhouses within what I consider a reasonable commute are out of my price range here.
I actually ran out of room to hang posters, I had so many. My wife was embarassed at first, but when we have friends over, eventually the wives join us guys to hang out downstairs in the garage.
any worth in this project? Car actually looks pretty solid but needs everything else. Same seller seems to have a few other old MGs, and an Austin Marina, for sale, most of which are sitting in a field. QB should pick them up, he is in that neck of the woods!

The price is rich. Looks like a nice car with all options. Compared to current cars, not quick. 0-60 in 9-10 sec? I am surprised to see a speedometer that reads above 85, I thought that was the regulation at the time. As I have a soft spot for Olds, I'd be happy to own that car.

RE: Porsche Turbo---well the CARFAX says it failed emissions testing in 2013, so maybe it burned a valve or something? At any rate, a rebuild on that engine is very $$$. Somebody spend a pile on this car.
'66 Stang: panel fitment looks pretty bad all around, and those wheels are AWFUL, but at least the asking price might be reasonable enough.
'81 Maro: If that's the original engine with no mods, he is quite wrong about it being "fast." Appears to have a power brake booster but manual brake pedal? Maybe? I'm not familiar with how they came from the factory.

Good "cheap" tire. Still, you get what you pay for at times (not always).
Kind of like some cars. You can pay double for 10% improved performance if you really want to. Then, of course, you have to actually use them to that extent. I made A LOT of far more expensive iron with far more expensive rubber look bad running a set of Sumitomos on the track and at the autocross.

For the mystery car, I am not aware of a Lancia of that era without 4 headlights.

The CJ-5 looks good for what it is.
The Ford pickup looks like a deal except there is no mention of mileage so it could be shot.
I run, do not walk, away from anything that is termed "custom", resto-mod" or has half of a Summit catalog bolted to it.
I do not know if that Porsche is a good deal or would be scorned by aficionados. I do not like the orange accents nor the interior mods.
