Which finance companies generally do not mark up the money factor on a lease?

I was pleased to see the moderators say that Honda dealers are not known for marking up money factors on a lease. Are there any other automakers who avoid or don't allow dealerships to mark up the money factor? Thanks.

The fact that Edmunds can help the public validate the money factor for manufacturers is a fantastic public service! I'm just curious, how do you gain access to these numbers and is there a source we can cite when negotiating with a dealership? For example, if you guys offer us a lower MF for a base rate, but the dealer insists theirs is higher, how can we credibly cite the Edmunds data?

Our recommendation is that you don't let on you know the base rate; simply tell them you won't sign a deal where the MF has been marked up. They know what the base rate is.

If they continue to obfuscate, simply walk and find another dealer that is more transparent.

    Our sources are confidential.
