Thanks. How does lease cash work? Does it come off selling price or does it apply to my monthly payments?

    Comes off selling price

Michaell, I see a nearby dealer having a leasing offer on a 2017 X5 Xdrive35i. MSRP $66395, selling price $59895. For 36/10k, 0 down, the monthly payment is $636 + 7% tax (FL). The sales says the MF is 0.00153. Is this a good deal? Should I aim for $600 before tax? Thanks!

We don't show any lease programs for 2017 models, this month.

I see that the money factor is slightly marked up, which I'm fine with based on the discount I'm getting. I always thought your adjusted cap cost is net of rebate. In this case, the selling price is $65,981.00 net of rebates, so I thought adjusted cap cost should've been that number.

    1. Could you explain how that $68,871.66 was calculated?

    2. The CA is saying this is based on $0 drive-off , but I don't understand what #27 and #29 mean...

    3. Do fees seem high here? I thought the fees would be $925 acquisition + DMV (in this case 559+58.25) + some small doc fee...

Thanks a lot. Have tremendous respect for you guys here.

    Which state is this?

The $4000 on lines 27 and 29 comes from the rebate. Your drive-off is zero
The adjusted CAP has to include the $1800 in fees and $850 first payment, as you are paying nothing at signing. Those are added, then the $4000 rebate is subtracted (minus tax on the rebate), leaving about $1110 for CAP reduction

This is SoCal. So this is basically rolling in the first payment into remaining 35 months and my "first" actual payment would start from a month from driving off the lot?

Yes... the first payment is being made out of the rebate, not rolled in.
Your first cash outlay comes when the 2nd payment is due.
