Looking for a car for a friend and noticed that these can likely be had significantly under MSRP. USAA's car buying service (TrueCar) is quoting me an estimate of $35,175 on an MSRP of $44,780, so this could potentially be a decent lease.

Thank you! One other question: My current lease on a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited is coming to an end next month. If I buy it out, it is $21.5k. The KBB for trade-in on it is $24k. I have been to a couple other dealers (Ford & GMC) who have called my leasing company to get the buy-out amount.

Can they do that? Do i have to disclose how much i owe on it? I would rather just try and sell them the car and keep it as a separate transaction and have them just cut me a check for the difference, as i do not want to put any equity into a new lease. Does that make sense? I also think they are just going to low-ball me once they find out how much is owed.

As it's a lease, if you plan to trade it in, the dealer needs to know the payoff value. Will that affect their offer? Likely yes.

And, the dealers will be quick to tell you, books (or websites) don't buy cars, dealers do.

Take your JGC to a CarMax and see what they offer you. And, check in with the 'real world trade in values' thread here in the forums and get the local experts opinion.

Once you know the buyout and trade value, you can make your deal and have the dealer cut you a check for any equity.

I didn't even realize some of the 2018 Durangos are already on lots. Do you have RV and MF for these yet? I was looking at an R/T 36/12k in NJ. Even if you have for a different trim level I would be curious to see the comparison to the 2017s.

Do you guys have Durango R/T 2018 numbers yet? Not sure what is up with Dodge as there are people driving around in 2018 models but you cannot build or price them on their website yet. I guess they need to move the 2017s.

Dodge has their build & price pages on the Durango updated to 2018. For the R/T, looks like $1,250 in lease cash available (Mid Atlantic area) and 0.00043 MF (they show 1.032% APR in their calculator).

Just came across this deal for anyone looking at a Durango SRT. Koons near DC is offering 3% below invoice on orderes placed on SRTs for a TBD limited time. You can pick it up in person or have it delivered to your locale. Usually around $500 in my experience 800-1000 miles or so.

It used to be you couldn't lease SRT vehicles (or I may be thinking of Ford SVT, now Ford Performance) however I believe you can now lease them.

With that final cost, I'm guessing this is an Ally or US Bank lease. We don't have those numbers. And, likely that any incentives are already included in that pricing.

And, we don't recommend such a large down payment - just first payment and DMV or registration costs.

Ok that is a negotiated cost from me, I don't have to put a down payment down. The final cost is actually 45209 with all incentives. So is there a lease possible given that?
