    Little America-

All the cars are 1960s model years w the exception being the white/blue Caddy convertible, a 55 or 56.

The Ford F100 at pumps is around that age.

Did BMW sue Ford over the Popular's front grill? :D

That looks like a resto mod/race car, what with the roll cage and wide tires/wheels. I remember making a model of one, I painted it a bright metallic green.

Yep, that's why I said "used to be". The Pop is a post-WWII car that looks pre-war.

Yes, I believe so. I was looking for any import models at Little America, but couldn't find any.

At Little America, in the long center row, maybe 14 cars in, beside the reverse slanted C-pillar of a Ramber, I spot a Beetle.

Good eye fin, I see it. There's a blue-grey Beetle next to the right side post of the Little America sign. Don't know if anyone has mentioned the white '61 Cadillac in the right front

Upper West Side, NYC, 1985. Expands nicely. A couple of fairly unusual vehicles (for today) here, and a nicely-composed pitcure:

Tan roller. Very period 70s color.

Looks like a Renault encore coming through the light, with the nose of an orange FIAT 128 behind it. Another period color on those.

The Checker Cab was my first clue that it was a Manhattan photo, the second was the Citibank logo on left. The slant of the streets suggests this is W71 St and Broadway.

Tan vehicle on left is an Olds Cutlass (for some reason the most popular sedan of the era).
Operating on another plane, the tan car heading left looks like a Rolls Silver Shadow or a
Bentley T. It's visible past the cab.

I'll toss out a pic from my hometown, Halifax Nova Scotia. We saw a companion pic to this one a while back. This is from 1964, a former Texaco station right next door to where my mom used to take me when I was in grade school to buy school shoes at a little neighborhood shoe store not far from where we lived. Blows up a bit.

Here's a large overhead shot from Americar on FB of Las Vegas, specifically the parking lot at the Riviera in 1969. Lots of Caddys as you would expect in Vegas back then.

Middle lane - Black 1957 Dodge Custom Royal D500. Vrooom.........

(Allow me this amusing story - On the sign one sees "Hello Dere". That was my high school buddy's favorite line when stopped at a red light and there were girls standing at that corner. He and I were cruising around and he used that line on two girls standing at an intersection. One replied "Hello". She was with a friend and my buddy asked if they would like to go riding around. One said, "sure" and they both entered the car. He started driving and the girl loudly said "I DON'T KNOW YOU!" "HOW DID YOU KNOW MY NAME?" My buddy said "I don't know your name." She said "THEN WHY DID YOU CALL ME CLAIRE?" He said, "I said "Hello Dere." She said "LET ME OUT!!!" They got out of the car.)

Not one, not two, but three 68+ Charger/Satellites? (white with black top next to blue and white towards lower right, white one at top next to the AMC). Really popular, or in rental fleets?

I make the blue and white one as a '68 Coronet, the white one at top to be a '69 Coronet, and then the black and white Charger. But you missed the Satellite wagon at the bottom next to @magnette 's '58 Plymouth Suburban.

Oof, the Coronet, forgot that one. Looks like that basic design was really popular, anyway.

Beside the Mustang II waiting to turn, driving away from the camera, looks like a 77-79 Cougar.

Just above the Mustang II fastback (always kind of liked the look of those) at lower right, kind of next to a guy and a mailbox, I see the rear third or so of a darker red TR7 coupe.

I was wondering if anyone would catch those, especially the TR7 which would have been a rare bird even then.

That corner looks a little bit different these days:

Kind of at the top, towing a small trailer with "wings" (a Shasta?) , I see a blue and white 68-69 (I think a 69) Fairlane sedan, maybe a Torino with the two tone, probably a 302. The smallest car there, perhaps.

4 cars to the left of that, lower, a big fuselage Chrysler, I suspect a Newport, in one of the greenish looking shades that seemed to make up 95% of production.

I have never heard any sort of credible explanation for why that was so, but it seemed pretty accurate. From about '69 to '73 the prevalence of various shades of metallic green on Chrysler models whether they be Plymouth, Dodge or Chrysler, was remarkable. I know greens were generally popular back then but other manufacturers didn't seem to have so much of it as Chrysler.

The Cadillac towing an Airstream pictured here must have been the peak of American recreational spending back then.

Maybe they bought out a green paint supplier? :)

My grandpa replaced his 65 with a 71 Newport 4 door HT. Kind of that medium green with a dark green top vinyl and dark green interior.

I think it is generally accepted that ~1970 was the zenith of purchasing power for the American working/middle class, this pic shows it.
