Yeah, another example of what happens when Chapron customizes a Citroen, this one a SM. I don't know the exact name. Some of Chapron's work is better than others.
You're the only one who can see them. When you make the link something like C:/Documents/Rocky's Velite Pictures/OMG/LOL/velite999.jpg
everyone's web browser will try to find that picture on their own computer and it won't be there. You can take pictures on your computer and upload them to your Carspace page and link to that.
I know imidazol97  Why can't it be simple ? Geeze come on to edmunds to have fun, not have to do trigonometry to figure out the pixel size for a pic.
I'll just for now on ask one of the experts to please post one for me. LOL
Rocky
P.S.
I'm basically am limited in knowledge of computers. I'd actually would need to watch someone do it in front of me to learn how.
You can link to pics in CarSpace. Simply open the photo album and go to the pic you want to display. Right click on the pic and look at Properties, copy the URL and put it in the IMG tag.
Let's see who can identify a vehicle from a small portion of it. :P
It's simple Rocky. Right click on the pic I posted and choose properties. The size of the image will be listed there. (552 x 414 pixels) Pics you plan to add to posts here shouldn't be any wider than that one to avoid the right side margin problem. If you have a pic that is wider, or you feel needs to be seen full-sized to be appreciated, you can simply post a link to where the image is hosted like this:
Clicking on that link will open the pic in a new window.
And no, it's not a nuke :P It's a pic of part of a car that my 13 year took at the Philly Auto Show this year. I don't remember the exact model, but I do know the brand if you'd care to hazard a guess as to what it is and what brand!
Does the pic have to go from the original site, to carspace, then to here ? Or can I just post the link on this site ? example: What if I found a cool spy pic on like left-lane news dot com, could I just post a link to that site ? Or does it have to come from my carspace ?
I know I'm confusing, but I want to prevent trouble with the membership rules
We'd like the pics you display to be YOUR pictures for the most part. Please don't go hog wild and start posting materials from other sites as that could run us into copyright issues. Upload the pics on your hard drive into an album in your CarSpace and you can display them from there.
The web layout person gets an "F" for design on the Carspace page for editing your picture. I just accidentally found after days of using the browse window to go to a picture that you have to go to the bottom of the page, below the Edmunds pictures offered, and click on "Save Picture."
Hey bumpy, buddy ol' pal If I want a pic displayed I'll contact you to do the "Theory of Relativity" calculations to post a 500 pixel pic for me. :surprise:
Infiniti is another make we never see here although in todays Autocar magazine there is an article saying that they are coming to Europe from 2008, and I suppose we'll get used to them after that - like Lexus....
There are some cars you would think of as really commonplace but that are unusual here - I saw an unfamiliar car last week and it turned out to be an Acura, on California plates.
I'm with you on the difficulties of posting a picture, Rocky - the one time I tried it I got into all sorts of problems and it didn't come out... I aspire to be " limited in knowledge of computers ", - at the moment I'm sort of "utterly lacking in computer skills', so it will be a while before I can get to the point where I can post pictures, which is a shame as I've started carying a compact camera with me to snap any odd cars I see in my travels - I suppose I'll have to post the on a picture sharing site somewhere and then transfer from there, but that's two processes I don't understand !
Do I need an account of some sort to get into CarSpace ? And do I need to post my pictures to there in some way so I can then post them on to this site ? When I go into "My CarSpace" from the link on the left it comes up with a message implying I ned to have an account of some sort. ? (sorry - I know this is meant to be a car forum not computing 1.01.)
Nope, not a Volga. I wouldn't be surprised if the Volga stylists borrowed from the Mystery Car.
Speaking of the 3111... "The GAZ "3111" has a 2500 cc. 16V DOHC engine, 4 cylinders, 150 hp, produced by ZMZ, and rear wheel drive. The platform, indeed, is the same of the old "M-24" (although modified), with leaf spring suspensions and rear drum brakes! But it's not a shame, also some American model has still the same type of suspensions (even the Chevrolet Camaro!)"
Chevy Camaro: as technologically advanced as a 30-year-old Soviet car. Ouch. :P
Believe me I'm no computer wizard but it's really fairly simple to download pictures. I recommend you switch to Firefox browsers which have a nifty feature that allows you to "Copy image location" when you find a suitable photo.
Once that's done you simply "paste" the photo following the "img src" prompt that comes up when you hit the "Img" button at the bottom of the text box.
Don't forget to "Close all" and you're in business.

I was just guessing on the plate...it's from some smallish country where the car isn't at home

P.S. What's wrong with linking them from my hard drive ?
That was the way someone else taught me to do it.

This one is at:

but this one is only 200 pixels wide, which really isn't big enough for what we're doing here. So, let's try a larger photo:

But don't you get the Nissan equivalents, either regular sales or gray(grey?)-market imports?
