Using your data, I get $232/mo. How much is due up front?

None. Everything is rolled into the payment except property tax. I just spoke to the dealer and he said that the Gross includes Net Cap +Tag fees + Dealer Acq Fee + Doc fee ($24958 + $89.25 + $595 + $299) - says these costs are not negotiable; The taxes work out to $1048.17 over the term of the lease. For 10k miles/year the Residual is $18337.90. This dealer, without getting into a negotiation of any sort quoted the MF and Residual that you had in your answer to my original question. Of the 4 dealerships I engaged with this one was the only one to do that.

Forgot to add that the monthly payment dealer is quoting is $283.38 (the one that I had in my previous response was what I calculated without knowing that tax calculation was based on Net cap + Doc fee).

    One more correction: Gross includes Net Cap +Tag fees + Dealer Acq Fee + Doc fee +TAXES ($24958 + $89.25 + $595 + $299 +$1048.17)

    Let's recap:

    MSRP - $27,370
    Adjusted Cap Cost - $26,989
    Residual (36/10) - 67%
    MF - .00095

I get a payment of $283.37/mo, just .01 off the dealer quote (rounding, I'm sure).

That's the exact amount he is quoting as well! Thank you! Looks like this dealer is being honest.

I'm considering a 2017 Subaru Forester Premium (with all weather package+ popular package @A) the follow stats:

    Seattle, WA
    MSRP $28,369.00
    Sales Price: $25,203.00
    Gross Cap Cost: $25,806.84
    Net Cap Cost: $25,221.08

    36 months/12K
    Residual 66%
    $245/mo (all taxes & fees)

Good Deal? What is the money factor on this transaction.

    Base MF is .00095

With that CAP cost, I get $222/mo. plus tax, so looks good.

How much is due at signing?
