2017 Crosstrek Limited vs 2016 Crosstrek Limited with Moonroof package

Hi! So Subaru recently announced the 2017 Crosstrek specs and pricing.

Is the MF and RV available on that car yet or do I have to wait until November when it's available in showrooms?

Also, is it a better deal if I try to lease a 2016 version (lower RV) or the 2017 version (higher RV)?

Since the car isn't available yet, the dealer can only factory order it. Will there even be a chance of me negotiating the cap cost?

No lease numbers available for the 2017 model.

Can't tell you what might be the better deal, without knowing the difference in selling price, and the new lease program.

thank you for your previous reply. Payment on two year lease to high for me. Can you give me residual and money factor on 2017 Crosstrek limited for 3yrs, 10,000/yr, and no money down. Salesman also mentioned that I could probably sell car after 30 months if I could find a buyer who would pay the residual value. His claim was that since Subarus hold their value so well, that would probably work. Can you comment what you think about that and whether you think that is a good strategy if I don't want to stay in lease for a full three years.

Rarely does it make financial sense to trade out of a lease early. The residuals on Subarus are high for a reason.

And, isn't the salesman vested in getting you into a new car as soon as possible?
