2017 Genesis (Hyundai) G90 Lease Deals and Prices

Thinking about leasing a G-90. Seeing that its a first year car I would not want to commit to more than a 24 month lease in the event that I don't like it. Coming from a 2011 BMW 750Li Xdrive. Do you think they will have some strong incentives to get the car on the street. my recent car history is below.

2011 BMW 750LI Xdrive that I have driven the last 3 years. Its been a great car but an expensive one to drive. My history of cars since 2004 has been as follows.

2004 Volkswagen Phaeton
2006 Volkswagen Phaeton
2009 Audi A8L
2011 BMW 750Li Xdrive

The common thread of each of these cars are that they were purchased after somebody else took the depreciation hit. So I was a buyer at 50% off the MRSP price. All of the cars had less than 20,000 miles on them and a couple of years of factory warranty remaining or a extended Factory CPO warranty. I didn't want to own a high line car without warranty. All of the cars were enjoyable to own and the Phaeton's were my favorite as they never sold many in the USA.

So now it’s time to move on from the BMW. It’s been a great car but they have the price point too high to buy an new one and its hit and miss trying to find a 20,000 mile or less vehicle.

Do I take the chance and buy a G90? Looking at the car it reminds me of the Phaeton and that is a big concern for me to buy it outright. Will Hyundai really make a new brand happen with a separate dealership? Perhaps but your still buying the Genesis today at a Hyundai dealer. I'm ok with that point. But buying it outright is a problem as the depreciation hit will be too great with first year car that could be an orphan within 36 months like the Phaeton. So I would pull the trigger if there is a good lease deal.

What is a good lease deal for me? it would be a 24 month, one payment lease. In the 1990's Lincoln had that option on their Continental's and I did it twice. It was a great concept and I enjoyed the Freedom of driving the car for 24 months and moving on to another car.

Any idea if Hyundai will offer a very attractive 24 month lease deal to get the G-90 in the marketplace. I am ready to make a deal in the next 30 days and my local dealer doesn't have any inventory yet.

Unfortunately, we don't yet have any G90 lease info.

I like your plan of buying luxo-sedans with low miles for 50% off MSRP.
I doubt a new G90 will do as well in depreciation if you bought it. I'd definitely look for a 24-month lease, instead, if that's the car you decide to go with.

We don't have the Hyundai / Genesis lease numbers for November.

I made the move and leased G90 ultimate with AWD (Black with Black Interior). I previously leased the 2011 Equus and the 2014 Equus. Genesis upped their game with the interior finishes from the previous Equus. This car is really nice!

Anyone else leased or looking to lease a G90 since December? I just asked my dealer for a quote and the MSRP is $73150, rebates totaling $11250 (which is great!) but the residual was 40% and MF 0.00219 with $5k down on a 3 yr, 10k miles/yr lease. Crazy?

If we haven't seen them by this time, it's unlikely that we'll get them for the month.

I just closed a deal on mine tonight.  $455.33/month for 36/15k.  2017 Genesis G80 AWD Ultimate with the adjusted Cap cost of $41,498.60.

Looking to lease a G90. Looks like the 2018's just came out. I can't find any info on the difference between a 2017 and 2018. My preference is to lease a 2018, but it looks like considerable incentives exist for 2017. Anyone have a recap of difference between the model years? Advice?
