Hi,

I curious to know why all 300 hp cars doesn't perform same. I own a 2016 Nissan Maxima SR which weighs 3500lb and has 300 hp. The caranddriver.com says it can go from 0-60 in 6.0sec but, when you take Audi a5 which weighs 3700lb and has 220hp caranddriver.com says it can reach 60mph in 6.1sec. If we do the math Audi a5 is 200 lb heavier than maxima and has 80hp less than maxima but still it make to 60mph from 0 in 6.1 sec which is just a 0.1sec slower than Maxima. So what makes such a low powered car to compete a car which has almost 1/3 more power.

Torque, axle ratio, gearing, drivetrain efficiency (how much power is lost between the engine and the the tires)
