  • Seems like lease for DSG Golf "R" loaded vs GTI Autob. (similarly equip.) for 36/10k is only about $30/mo more!! Better residual sure helps! But insurance, tires, etc. might be substantially higher :@
  • ..well..more like $50.00/mo more for the R than GTI Autob.

Factor in the cost associated with the increased chance of moving violations with the R, as well.

No information on order cut-off or start dates, sorry.

Which dealer are you working with? I leased my Jetta from McDonald on Broadway.

  • I got my GTI from my broker, Saleem Douly, but it also is from McDonald :)
  • Q: Can one do away with Acquisition Fees if you're willing to up the interest rate (MF) a tiny bit? If I lease another VW, can they wave the disposition fee?

Add .00062 to the MF if you want to waive the acquisition fee.

If you are currently leasing a VW and want to lease another one, the disposition fee ought to be waived.

Can someone please provide the numbers for MF and RV for a 2017 VW Golf GTI (Sport and SE) for 36/12 in California?

Also if it is okay, the optimal leasing price for 36 months.

    Thank you!

Sorry if this has been asked...I live in the South Florida area. Approximately, how much should I be paying for, or hope to pay on, a 2017 GTI SE. 3 year lease, 12k? 0 down payment/ 3k down payment (although I've heard never do a down payment on a lease)? The car is currently selling at 28,417. Thank you!!

$335/mo + tax, if the selling price is the same as the adjusted CAP (meaning.. all other charges are paid upfront).

Of course, you have to watch out for money factor markups, large dealer fees, etc, etc.. Plus, acquisition fee and DMV fees.

MF and Residual for GTI in either NY or SF?

assuming 36/12. Probably still 57% but I'm starting to think this'll be a really good time to lock in a lease, as sometime in 2020 is when we can expect the Mk8 to hit.

Is is there ever negotiating room on the MF? I have very good credit and could easily pay cash, but think a lease may be the best deal for me in my situation. Especially if I can get the effective sale price down to where I think I can.

Also, is there any way for us plebs to look these numbers up ourselves or are they "insider knowledge" only?

MF is for top tier credit; VW does have an MSD program, but we don't have the details.

The information we have is confidential.
