Here's the deal I just made on an A4 Quattro SE automatic with convenience package, bluetooth, Ipod, wood trim and Audi care. 36 months 15K per year $464 per month includes bank fee Audi makes first payment. up front NY Sales Taxes less $300 cash back from the dealer.
I planning to lease Audi A4 Cabriolet in mid August 2008 for 36 months/ 12 K miles. Does somebody has an idea how much my monthly payment should be? And what other charges should I expect?Thank you.
What was the sale price? What options included, above and beyond the SE package and paint? I have a $390./mo quote which is basically at invoice from a dealer I have used before.
In reading this forum it would appear that some buyers are getting $2,000. loyalty. My dealer says there is none and I see nothing on the web that suggests there is. PLease let me know if you know otherwise.
Hello all, I really appreciate all your help. I got this quote today:
2008 Audi A4 2.0T SE CVT Automatic Transmission, Leather Interior, Sunroof, Special Edition Wheels MSRP: $32,325 Selling: invoice plus $500 Lease for $416/month for 36 months. Downpayment: TX tax (we pay tax on the whole selling price in Texas on leases) + fees: around $2200.
I just leased an A4 SE Quattro and asked the same of my agent, It's (2000 loyalty)for the Cabriolet........
My paticulars. A North Jersey Audi dealership.....very good experience. Good sales man........
36 month. 15K A4 SE Quattro Quartz gray metallic.......ipod package. 420.00 per month no 1st payment Sign and drive. Zero down. Documents only fee. I'm happy.
Thank you! What is the cap cost? I seem to be locked in at invoice and want to get a sense as to what other NY Metro area buyers are seeing. Under invoice? There is always a dealer holdback that the dealer gets from the manufacturer.
Do yourself a favor and read my other posts. I followed others advice a well, namely that Audi dealerships are trying to unload the 2008 A4 inventory before the 2009 cars rollout. So they will make a reasonable deal/offer.
I think you should get a few quotes from other dealers. I did and went to my dealership armed with data. my lease is right where everyone said it should be sans a couple bucks a month. I was advised my A4 SE Quattro Quartz Gray Metallic with ipod should go for $415 per month. I quit trying to squeak out another few dollars and settled for $420.00 month. I'm satisfied.
The first dealer started at $470.00. I went to 3 dealers.
You got sweet deal. I’m looking to lease A4 SE Quattro in North Jersey. What dealership did you go to and did you pay taxes upfront or included in the payment?
Paul Miller Audi. My third A4 lease. This is as easy as it gets, plus they have a nice showroom and laid back (no pressure) sales people, IMHO. I look forward to servicing there since I moved from Ridgewood, Jack Daniels is now far out of my way.
Nothing up front except document and DMV fees, plates etc. $575.00. Taxes are rolled into the monthly payments as one would expect.
Audi is paying the first month, so I have 35 payments, starting July 11th.
Same deal you got is going for $375/month in North Carolina. Keep the pressure on the dealers as they are looking to clear out the 2008 A4's and will do so lower than $429/month with $0 down, 15k miles and taxes in monthly payment. Shoot for below $400/month on SE CVT models.
I am nearing the end of a 3 year lease on a '05 A4 quattro. I'm trying to figure out what my options are. I have a buyout offer from the dealer as follows.
-$1,600 for extended warranty ( 6 years or 100 K miles) -waive my last payment on the lease -$500 off rebate -2.9% the remaining value of the car. The dealer also mentioned that the residual is somewhat negotiable.
I want to give a shoutout to jdunnisher, without him, there's no way I would have gotten this car. I emailed the same West Covina dealer and got a similar offer on a new 2008 A4 2.0 T CVT Special Edition (Black on Black Leather) with ipod and bluetooth. He is one of the few that were willing to talk numbers over email/phone which was nice. I then called a few dealerships around the area to comparison shop and one said they could not match (Downtown LA), another said they could only match (Beverly Hills), another said they could match and would throw in free car washes and meals (when you come to the dealership - McKenna in Norwalk), another said they would do the same price and throw in the S suspension (Keyes in Van Nuys). All in all, I really liked the dealer (even though our correspondence had been over email and towards the end on the phone) and he was very upfront, honest, and straight forward so I ended up doing the deal with him and I was there for about an hr (and they picked me up from my house).
MSRP: 32,575 (including destination, bluetooth, iPod interface) Selling price: 29,142 Adjusted cap: 30,367 ($650 Audi Care and $575 Acquisition Fee rolled in) Residual Value: 17,265 (53%) MF: 0.00002 36 months / 45,000 miles Monthly payment: 35 payments of $365 + tax = $395 Due at signing: $0 (~$315 for dmv registration)
The only cons I've noticed thus far is that the ipod interface is really very basic (track names don't pop up, cant scroll through folders like an ipod) and I don't know if you can, but I haven't figured out how to scan through my preset radio stations using the steering wheel controls.
I am so glad I stumbled onto this site! I am planning on going to try and lease and Audi A4 in the south florida area tomorrow (either Miami, Fort Lauderdale, or West Palm). I can lease anywhere. I would love to get the same exact deal pkwestside got. A few questions:
1) do you think that is the best deal I can get;
2) If no, what other "extras" do you think I can get; and
3) How do I go about getting (at a minimum) the deal that pkwestside got? (should I just walk in and say "Ill buy the car if I get this deal. etc?"
THANKS! A speedy reply would be great. I need to lease a car within the next 4 days.
There are many others in this forum that can dispense helpful advice, I just happened to have a great buying experience with a specific SoCal Audi dealer, which I shared with the group. That being said, I'm happy to help in any way that I can.
I think the deal that you can get will depend a lot on your area and being able to find a dealer that will meet your price. By reading through the posts in this forum, I think you'll be able to get a good idea of what you should expect to pay for your new car.
The fact that you're willing to travel outside of your immediate area will expand the number of dealers you can work with, and should increase your chances of finding a price that you're happy with. With '09 models hitting the lots soon, you should be able to get a pretty aggressive price on an '08.
If it comes down to a matter of a few dollars, I would recommend going with the dealer that you feel the most comfortable working with. For me personally, this was the biggest factor in my decision... not that I may have shaved a dollar or two off my payment by jumping through hoops at another dealership.
One thing to be aware of is the documentation fees. In California, these are capped at $55. However, I've read in a number of places that dealers in South Florida charge upwards of $500-600 for these fees. Most dealerships will not budge on these, so be cognizant of that when negotiating your price.
It's tough to speculate how low your local dealers will be willing to go, or what they'll throw in to get a deal done. The only way to know for sure is to contact them with a price in mind and go from there. So if you're looking to lease in the next 4 days, I'd suggest you get started.
What is reasonable right now in terms of sales price on a car, esp. if the dealer has to get it from another state? Based on the list of specs/options I am interested in, my local dealer has to trade for it with a dealer a couple of hundred miles away. He is sitting firm on $900 over invoice on a fairly loaded a4 2.0 quattro. Is this reasonable? Other terms of the quote are listed in my other posting above.
I have to make a decision in the next couple of weeks. Thanks
sidney im in a similar situation... a4 2.0T quattro, heated seat, navi, sat radio, prem pkg... was told msrp is 40,000, selling price is 38000, 36/10k year, paymenty is going to be 455, 2201 down (taxes, fees etc)... i believe im slightly over invoice... anyone wanna chime in on this deal? and first payment will be waived
but look at sidney's deal.............you guys are getting much more car. even if i dropped to 12k like his deal i still wouldnt get the same price with all of his equipment.

I probably would have taken the $399/10K deal from Audi if it wasn't for this website
I can send the salesperson/dealer info for anyone who's looking.
Audi's website is advertising special lease rates on all CPO 2005-2006 A3, A4 and TT models.
http://www.audiusa.com/audi/us/en2/Certified_Audi/CPO_Special_Offers.html
Do you know what the terms, rates, and residuals are that they are offering on these Certified Pre-Owned leases?
Thanks a lot, any info is much appreciated.
