MSRP was 25150. But sale price is 23900.
Mileage = 15k/year.


.00146 MF and 63% residual
$750 lease cash
$500 in-stock allowance

If $2995 covered tax, acquisition fee, title/registration/dealer fees plus first payment, and the CAP cost was the same as the sale price, I get $282/mo. That's pretty close to $278.. But, I'd think $2500 would be enough to cover all of that. Considering the incentives listed above, I'd shoot for about $600-$1000 less overall. So, maybe the same payment with just $1995 upfront?

Is this even a good time to look at leasing it, with the 2018s supposed to arrive soon? I'm in New York City with just two Mini dealers (NYC and Freeport).

RWG calculator quotes $392 base+tax+fees.

That tax number isn't correct for a lease. That looks like a purchase quote.
Also, the acquisition fee is $925. Don't see that anywhere.

Approximate payment X tax rate X term

For example: $300 X 8% X 36 months = $864

That's a rough estimate, assuming the variables are correct. As you can see, that's a long way from their number.

I was quoted 64% on Base 4D Hardtop w/ .00201 MF. They said this was tier 2 credit with a score just below 700. Does this seem right? I know they cannot change the residual.

Also, could you tell me the 4D Hardtop S numbers?

For the 2018, I get $426/mo plus tax, so in the ballpark with your quote.

For the 2017, I get $524/mo plus tax. Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost on this quote, as the $4000 lease rebate is over $100/mo savings on the payment.

We did not get the MINI lease programs for July, so no way for us to confirm the MF and residual numbers you were given.

The residual is fixed by the bank; nothing to negotiate there.

The MF can be marked up by the dealer for extra profit; in this case, I'm going to guess that the .00151 is the base rate this month, as it matches the BMW base rate as well.

We do suggest the only up front money you give at signing is the first payment and DMV costs. Your payment will go up, but you won't risk losing any money if the car is stolen or totaled.

All BMW/MINI leases include GAP insurance at no extra charge.

We don't have the MINI numbers for this month, but if I plug in those numbers, I get $280/mo

Does the adjusted cap include all taxes and fees?

Likely a MF around .00150, and a residual of 55-60%.

But, those are just guesses. The residual, of course, is fixed by the bank.
