Hi infalliblesal. Honda Finance's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 Accord Coupe EX-L V6 without navigation with 12,000 miles per year are .00200 and 55%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top aka "Super Preferred" credit tier.

You can find the pricing data that you need over in the New Vehicle Pricing section of Edmunds.com.

Let me know what this car's MSRP and approximate selling price are and I'll gladly work up a sample payment on it for you.

I'm located in Southern California. I'm looking to lease a 2010 or 2011 Accord Coupe EX-L with V-6/Navigation (manual or automatic). I do not want to put anything down and would like 12k a month for miles. Any ideas on bottom dollar a month payments??? I am getting out of my current Mercedes lease and looking to cut costs slightly. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas or what they negotiated. Thanks!!!

I'd be happy to help you out, thomasp3.

Honda Finance's October buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2010 Honda Accord Sedan EX-L 4-cylinder with 12,000 miles per year are .00058 ad 55%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top aka "Super Preferred" credit tier.

When negotiating your lease on this car, make sure to take advantage of the $1,200 dealer cash that is currently available on it.

Well Car_man... this may be a first for you... but I purchased my Accord EX-L V6 with Navi at a fantastic price thanks to your assistance back on April 30th (just 5 months ago) and now I am here again to purchase another identical vehicle because mine was TOTALLED yesterday here in New Jersey.

My beautiful car was destroyed by an irresponsible twenty something who was speeding and lost control of his uninsured, Georgia registered Hyundai Sonata when he fishtailed, swerved off his lane, veered to the right, and struck my (stopped) car while I was sitting at the stop sign of the perpendicular street waiting to make my right hand turn.

I am alright - concussed, dizzy and still have ringing in my ears but alive and fairly unscathed. An absolute testament to the build quality of this automobile that this individual can be travelling at a high enough rate of speed to skid over 60ft, travel over 100, and strike my vehicle with enough force to turn it 90 degrees and move it another 50 feet forward into the lane like this (the debris from the accident is back in front of the ambulance) :

Any information you could provide on the same fully equipped 2010 EX-L V6 w/ Navigation this month would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Car Man - great forum here. Could you please hook me up with the MF and residual on a 2010 Honda Accord LX-S coupe in the Southeast region? Looking at those zero down deals Honda is offering in October for a 36,000 mile lease w/12,000 miles a year.

    Thanks & again, great forum!

Does anyone know the residual and money factor for the 2010 EX-L V6 with Navigation, 3yr 45k in NJ? I have 5 days to get a car before my rental is due back and I incur out of pocket expenses.

    Thank you in advance.

The dealer I leased my 2010 Accord LX from in May is currently advertising 2010 Accord EX 4-cyl automatic sedans for $207 per month and 2010 Accord EX-L 4-cyl automatic sedans for $247 per month. (Terms: 36 months, 12K miles per year, no security deposit, only first month's payment and $119 service fee due at signing. Plus tax, title, and license of course.) Granted, comparing a 2011 vs. 2010 probably isn't fair, but the savings is pretty substantial. I got my 2010 LX automatic for $179 per month in May, and at that time, Honda even paid the first month's payment. The other terms were otherwise identical.
  • bvdj84bvdj84 Member Posts: 1,724
You can pretty much do any lease deal with $0 down. They simply roll everything into the deal. Which is okay, you really should have a $0 down lease deal anyway. As long as the fees are reasonable.

Unfortunately. I am a bit disappointed as the EX-L is extremely pricey and it does NOT come with NAV, only with $2k more!! That is excessive now when being compared to other models. Looks like I will be moving onto another car all together, because you don't get as much Accord as you did before! I am not willing to spend that much. And I am even a big Honda fan!!

Please, does anyone know that money factor and residual this month for the 2010 Accord Coupe EX-L V6 with Navigation in New Jersey for a 36month / 45k lease? I'm sorry for the redundant posts but I have to purchase a vehicle this week as mine was just totaled and I have to return my rental this week.

Thank you very much in advance.

It's 47% residual & .00048 money factor for 36 months 15k miles/year. You can get that car delivered to you at $1500 under dealers invoice. That lease is $440 if you pay the first month, tax & dmv fees. Bank fee in the payments.

First of all... thank you very much for replying... secondly... that residual is obscene. Is that 1,500 dealer cash? Also, would you happen to know the residual, money factor, and any incentives on the 2011 Coupe EX-L V6 w/ Navigation 36mo/45k?
  • legendleasinglegendleasing Member Posts: 4
Part of that is the delaer cash, part of that is the dealer discount.

    2011 is 51% with a .00094 money factor.
You can get that car for $29,500. The lease will be $419 with first month, tax & dmv fees up -front for 36 months with 15k miles/year.

Leasing a Honda with NAV is always a horrible deal. They are the only manufacturer I know of that has a different residual for cars with NAV. If you ever look at the residuals of a NAV vs Non-NAV car and do the calculations you will find out that you pay the entire $2000 for the NAV during the lease, not just the residual %.

correct me if I'm wrong but based on the 47% (hideous) residual value and the .00048 money factor... the figures for a 36month / 45k lease on the 2010 Accord Coupe V6 with Navigation break down as follows:

    32055 MSRP
    29113 Invoice
28000 Sale (you said 1500 below invoice so 28k should be doable for this example)
    15065 Residual
    12935 Depreciation
359.30 Monthly Depreciation Payment (36 Months)
    20.67 Monthly Interest Payment (.00048 x 28000+15065)
    379.98 Pre Tax Monthly Payment
    26.59 Monthly Tax
    406.57 Total Monthly Payment

How are you coming up with an 440monthly? My numbers include tax. How much is the bank fee?

Holy cow, soulchild. I'm glad to hear that you're OK. You're car is definitely messed up...it takes a lot for an insurance company to want to total a brand new car. Here's the relevant information on leasing the replacement car that you're interested in.

Honda Finance's October buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2010 Accord Sedan EX-L V6 with Navigation and 15,000 miles per year are .00058 and 49%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top aka "Super Preferred" credit tier.

When negotiating your lease on this car, make sure to take advantage of the $1,200 dealer cash that is currently available on it.

You're right about leasing a Honda with OEM navigation, kingpcgeek. I wouldn't say that Honda is the only manufacturer that has different residual values for vehicles that are equipped with nav...but paying for the option and then having your vehicle's residual value drop by at least 2% on top of that is a steep price to pay for the system. I personally went with a Garmin over the OEM system. It's a lot cheaper.

Posting from central NJ. Have a Acura TL coming up on lease (2 months left). With new model year there are deals in my area. My company gives $2000 down on new lease.
    Looking at this ad:
    201 Accord LX 4 cyl/auto/am/fm/cd/ pwr st/br/wind/lcks, tilt , cruise.
    (model CP2F3AEW)
$159.00 per month for 36 mos. close end
must qualify fort AHFC Super Pref. and Pref tier 1
Ad states" Payment includes all costs to consumer except 1st month payment ta, title, reg. bank fee destination insurance and the like. Addl mv state tax and doc fees apply"
    12K miles
    15c each after 36K
    $1500 loyalty discount
Getting my credit score (which has to be over 725-which I should be fine with)
So now where am I? I read here OTD but I have to back into it with the $2K no? Need to find MF and residual too correct.
Last thing they have a LX-P as well for $10 more per month-worth it? Why?
    please help
    thx (sorry for the rant)

Thank you very much Car_man... I really appreciate it! I have to buy a replacement vehicle this week. Yes, unfortunately (or maybe fortunately, depending on how you look at it) they totaled the car. Just as a comparison, would you have the same information on the 2011 EX-L V6 w/ Nav? As much as I love this car, I'm trying to weigh very carefully a 400month payment on thie vehicle against $496 payment on a 2011 C300 Sport 4matic, P1, Multimedia, Harmon Kardon, & Metallic paint. I'm sure I could also get a 328xi sedan/coupe in the same ballpark of the MB given their high residuals at current as well. With figuring out the numbers on a 2011 Accord I could do a model year to model year comparison of the current lease offerings.

As always... thank you very very much for all of your assistance and for educating all of us.

Last thing they have a LX-P as well for $10 more per month-worth it? Why?

You have to decide if the following are worth $10 a month:
    * Driver's Seat with 8-Way Power Adjustment
    * 16-Inch Alloy Wheels
    * Security System
    * Auto-Up/Down Driver's and Front Passenger's Windows
    * Illuminated Window Switches

I'd definitely go with the LX-P due primarily to the power driver's seat. This is especially important if you are long of limb, so that you can adjust the seat to give you better thigh support. I made the mistake of leasing a base LX because it was less expensive and they had one in the color I wanted (alabaster silver with black cloth), but I regret not spending a few extra dollars on the LX-P.

I'm six feet tall and I have to jack up the height of the driver's seat in my LX in order to get loosely acceptable thigh support... but the seat ends up being a bit too high for my taste. In the end, it's not a huge deal for me because I drive mainly around town... the longest trip I'll make is two hours, so I can live with my LX considering that I'll have it for just three years. If you plan on making longer road trips or you will be driving a lot, definitely go with the LX-P with its power driver's seat.

The security system, alloy wheels, and illuminated window buttons are icing on the cake.

Another ad locally has a 24 month lease (which is too short need 36-will they do?)
    but it is:
    2010 Accord LX-P
    Model CP2F4AEW
    MSRP $23, 605
    residual $14,635.10 (approx 38%)
    $2999 due at inception includes:
    $2285 Cap cost reduction
    $0 security dep
    $595 Bank fee
    and 1st month payment

    12K miles 15cents each over

With $372 a month payments (2 left-any chance they will pick them up if I agree to take car immed?)

what's monthly payment for that deal?

You need to quit looking at ads. You can almost always get a better deal then the ad come-ons. Most leasing ads will include a large cap cost reduction to make the lease payment very enticing. Look at the example you posted with a $2285 cap cost reduction. Cap cost reductions on a lease are a horrible idea.

You negotiate a lease just like a purchase. What is the selling price of a the car? Right now you should be shooting for at least invoice - $1,200 (the dealer cash) as the selling price.

Could you please tell me the money factor and residual on the 2011 Coupe EX-L V6 with Navigation... still going with a 36/45k unless there is a better program...

Carman, your info has been extremely helpful. I have searched and have not found the lease info combination for oct. yet on this site. 2010 Accord EX-L Coupe 4cyl no navigation 36 months 12k/year . Looking for MF and Res. Also would be great if you could give me the 2011 numbers as well so I can see which is a better deal as dealer has both in stock.

I cannot believe that a loaded Accord is going for $32k ! Way too high! Totally going into TSX territory. Your going to spend abou $27k just on an EX-L.

So took your advice and here is what I have found.
    MSRP on a 2010 LX-P is $21855
    Invoice is 20573
    Edmunds TMV is 19477

Had some internet quotes locally and a dealer came back with:
    MSRP is $22,855.00,
    Special Internet Price of $19,299.00*.
*This price does not include destination, sales tax, motor vehicle, doc fees or any additional fees or accessories. Ask for all fees.

My question is this does not take into consideration the $1200 that honda is offering currently correct? Does not say so in email.
Putting $2K down (stipend from work)
credit score is 650 what is MF at that number
Also any chance they would pu last month on my current lease ($370)
last thing, I bought my Pilot from dealership any incentives there?

    Thoughts
  • swampdragonswampdragon Member Posts: 35
Slightly different car similar parameters - in New Jersey

I was quoted 272.96 (includes tax) on a 2010 Accord-EX (try to leverage what they have in stock) - $785 down

They will also take my 2008 Pilot with 6 payments left on it through AHFC

still debating if the Accord or CR-V is a better replacement for my too big Pilot

This is for a 2011 Honda Accord EX-L V6 Coupe (no nav) in White ..Trying to lease this Saturday -

Current car is a lease with 10mos left - 2009 Honda Accord EX-L I4 White

Two current deals on table by two different local Honda lots -

    1. $3200 down, Invoice sale price for us $27,990, Our 2009 will be paid off completely, $322 a month x 36 mos based on 7.2% and 55% residual - (navigation comes to $368 a month)

    2. $3357 down, Invoice sale price for us $27,500, Our 2009 will be paid off completely, $349 a month x 36 mos with 55% residual, First car payment paid by Honda (navigation comes to $398 a month)

I will be finding out for sure on Saturday whether or not the 1st deal which is a steal imop is to good to be true as a friends father is also purchasing an LX-P cash OTD for 20k Invoice 18 in change - which prob helps us being it could be a 2 car deal for that dealer -

    Any help would be appreciated!
