The rubber gasket around the trunk looks like its intact. My mechanic said that even it was the gasket it is no longer available. What is causing this problem?

Have someone take a rubber tipped blow gun and blow out your sunroof drains! The two in the back are hard to get to!

The leak seems to be in the front of trunk only

Put some newspaper down in the trunk and first spray only around the tail lights--tail light gaskets can leak as well. If that doesn't show any water on the newspaper, then try again by spraying around the trunk seams and see what shows up.
