    4. any other information or techniques to get the best least price.

Thanks so much for all your help. You guys rock!!

What state are you in? What is the MSRP?

I got the same deal pretty much (same options etc) for $427/mth in NY. Only difference is the car is silver which adds $720 to the MSRP (currently $41,690.) Not sure if this is the best deal that could be had.

I am considering asking them to throw in the "pre-paid maintenance" which MBUSA is promoting at $769 for 30,000 miles or 3 years. (basically the lease term).

I got them to include maintenance too. This is in NY. Msrp is $46575. Sell price $43639. Adding leather seats and keyless bumps it up to 465/month w/the 10k trade in

The MF is still .00057 and the residual for 10k miles is 58%

There are Ambassador programs being offered, with the MF at .0002

Here are some insights into the numbers, for the finance manager to make some money, they will want to mark up the .0002. You can either negotiate on the price of the car, or the MF, or both, but likely you will only get them to go so far. The rate you're paying on .00057 is a whopping 1.3%.

Also I don't think there's much point to picking up the prepaid maintenance. You can get the work done cheaper outside of MB

If you think you are going to lease another Mercedes at the end of the one you're looking to pick up, do not buy more miles. In this current pull forward program, they were offering to pay the last 5 payments. You can basically turn in your call at the cap of the miles ( say 3 years, 30k miles) even though you are not driving it until the end ( turning in at 31 months)

    Car Man,

I'm looking to lease the following and wanted to know if you thought I'm on the mark, here is the sticker:

    C300W4 Base Price: $37,100
    Iridium Silver $720
Premium I Package: SIRIUS Satellite $2,300
    iPod Integration Kit $375
    Burl Walnut Wood Trim $320
    SUBTOTAL $40,815
    TOTAL $41,690

I don't need the Ipod thing or even the walnut trim but they only have a few 2010 cars left and the current promotion "ends" August 2nd.

So for 12k miles per year/36 months and about $2700 down (including 1st month payment, bank fee, acquisition) I would be at $427/month. I think the dealer marked it down to like $37,800 in order to arrive at this but not sure.

I live in NJ but am going to a dealer in NY. I believe I have to pay all the taxes upfront since I live in NJ so I think that's figured into the "drive-off" mentioned above. I know there is no cap cost reduction.

I don't know the residual or money factor and frankly not sure how to figure that out anyway. I don't plan on buying this car at lease end. I care about the monthly payment and the total drive-off.

Also for an additional $769 they offer the 3 services required over the life of the lease, plus they will pick it up at my house, drop off a loaner, and bring it back when done- washed!

any thoughts? anything I should be asking the dealer? or go for it?

Hello I want to lease at 2010 c300 sport package, however because I currently am not working (just graduated nursing school, waiting for some hits on my resume) they only way I can lease one is a One Pay lease option. which I can afford to do. Is this a good idea? i have always financed vehicles, but I get sick of them right around 21/2-3 years, so i decided leasing would work better for me...Please help!!

Is the money factor still 0.00057 with 58% residual? I got a quote from local dealer with the following options:

    C300W $33,600
    775 Iridium Silver $720
    101 Black MB-Tex
    P01 P01 Premium I Package: SIRIUS Satellite $2,300
    R22 17" 5-Spoke Alloy Wheels
218 Dynamic Rear View Monitor $450
    320 320 Multimedia Package: 7" Power Retract $2,650
333 333 Sport Sedan: Sport Body Styling, Mer
    413 Panorama Sunroof $1,070
    427 427 7-Speed Automatic Transmission: (Req $1,490
731 Burl Walnut Wood Trim $320
    889 KEYLESS-GO $1,130

    SUBTOTAL $43,730
    TOTAL $44,605

They quoted me with $900 down, 10k/year, $545/month with tax. I think it's bit high. Any suggestions? Also, please advise to take off some of the options that you think are not necessary? Thanks.

Thanks Mark. Here's the information that you're looking for.

Mercedes-Benz Financial's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2010 C300 Sport with 10,000 miles per year are .00260 and 58%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The reason that this car's money factor is so much worse than it was is Mercedes replaced its lease support on it with dealer cash. There is now $4,100 dealer cash on the '10 C300. Make sure to take this cash into account during your negotiations.

Congratulations on your recent graduation, lindseyj. There's absolutely nothing wrong with doing a one pay lease on a Mercedes vehicle. One pay leases are not interest-free, but they do provide a substantial .00110 discount on the money factor that Mercedes-Benz Financial uses to calculate the interest cost for your lease. That would drop the 2010 C300's money factor from .00260 to .00150.

Just make sure to take advantage of the $4,100 dealer cash that is currently available on this car and negotiate as low a selling price as possible.

I'd be happy to, mtncntrl. You never mentioned what trim level, term, or mileage allowance you're interested in so I'll have to make some assumptions. Let me know if you want something different.

Mercedes-Benz Financial's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 C300 Sedan Sport with 15,000 miles per year are .00147 and 57%, respectively.

Hi dthorn1. Mercedes' lease program on the 2010 C300 is completely different in August than it was in July. Mercedes pulled the plug on its lease support for the '10 C-Class and replaced it with dealer cash. Specifically, there is $4,100 on the '10 C300 Sedan.

Mercedes-Benz Financial's new buy rate money factor for a 36 month lease of this car is .00260. The residual value for this car is 55% for 15k, 57% for 12k, and 58% for 10k leases.
