Hi I'm new to actually posting on the forum. However your feedback has been super helpful in the past. I bought a VW Passat and an Infiniti QX60 both coming here and seeing what others got. It's time for me to trade in my 2005 Lexus ES300 and I've been thinking about getting a truck, I'd like to get the Toyota 1974 edition, I'm most likely going to lease it and potentially buy at the end. I've seen you post the MF and residual #'s but how do I figure out payments?

When I leased the Passat (because I knew I was going to give it back to them) I did 15k and paid the extra to have 10k in damages. Now that I think I'll keep this truck I'm between 10/12k miles. Probably on the 36 or 39 whatever toyota does.

What's a good deal on this model? Where should the payment be?

I'm in Issaquah/Bellevue/Seattle Washington.

Use this article to help you calculate your own lease payment:

What cab style? What bed length? 2WD or 4WD? These all determine the residual value.

The MF on the Tundra is around .00180 or so (standard Toyota rates).

If your intention is to keep the truck for many years, don't lease and buy - too expensive that way. Better to just purchase up front.

I'm looking at the 1974 model. 4x4. Not sure what the bed length is.

I thought I did the math and it's a few thousand more to lease and then buy, but gets me the lower payment for the first 36 months.

Right, because in 3 years you have to finance a used car, and the interest rates are usually higher than for a new car.

Probably a .00190 MF or thereabouts.
