I used the TMV calculator but it doesn't really seem to account for the demo miles. Thanks so much!

When I was talking to a finance manager, he told me that BMW maintenance warranty can only apply to the first registered person so if I'm leasing a loaner then I'll have to either 1) buy the maintenance package (36 months / 36000 mile) for $1840 or 2) Renew/refresh (the term he used) the maintenance warranty for $495 in order for the maintenance warranty to apply on the loaner vehicle because the first registered owner was the dealership and not me. Is this true?

I haven't heard about that applying to service loaners. But, my last experience in buying a loaner was 18 months ago. It does apply to buying a used BMW. Of course, things could have changed in the last 18 months.

What makes it sound dicey? Who in their right mind would choose option 1), if you could choose option 2)?

My response: "Screw that, either it comes with the maintenance package or I buy something else, from another dealer". Full disclosure: That's my general response to anything that Finance says that will take more money out of my pocket.

Thank you everyone!! Because of this site and leasehcker.  I got a new(25 miles) 18 330xi shadowsport for $388 a month(10k) with only $388 down all together.  I’ll post the sale sheet, but in the end I was able to get 4500 incentives, 60% residential.

Thank you everyone!! Because of this site and leasehcker.  I got a new(25 miles) 18 330xi shadowsport for $388 a month(10k) with only $388 down all together.  I’ll post the sale sheet, but in the end I was able to get 4500 incentives, 60% residential.

Basically $3200 off on MSRP. they would apply $4500 incentives on top of that but it's still a pitiful discount considering the age and use of the car. Funny thing is I was getting a slightly better discount on a brand new 2018 330xi from another dealer and I told him that before walking away.

Not sure how they dispose of their loaners here but i got the feeling they didn't care.
