Manual Transmission Family Hauler

Hey, I am looking to see if there were any cars available at all recently (like last fifteen years) that were at least 7 passenger and were available in the U.S. with a manual transmission. The only one I have found so far is the Land Rover Discovery II, and finding one with all of those options selected (and that still has any functioning electrical equipment) is a monumental task. If anyone has any leads, that would be much appreciated. Thanks!

That might be a tough search.. I can think of a few SUVs that came with sticks, but none with a 3rd row.

I have seen a couple things around of people mentioning volvo xc 90s available with a manual, but maybe they were in Europe.

    Almost positive not in US.

Might find a V70 with the rear facing seat, if go back far enough.

    Something from Nissan?

Does it need to be 7-passenger? Or just 3rd row? The Mazda5 had a manual, but it is a 6-seater (although, IIRC, it had a 7th seat option in Europe).

Aside from the V70 having had a rear-facing 3rd row, so did some Benz wagons, although I have no idea what years that was offered.

I recently saw some kits to put a third row seat in a jeep wrangler unlimited. Has anyone out there tried it, and was it actually at all practical?

Didn't the Mitsubishi Outlander come with a manual?

They did in 2005, but I don't think they seat seven.

That sounds uncomfortable. And likely leaves zero cargo space. Is the stick that crucial in a family hauler?

Oh and really expensive, and iffy safety wise.

@stickguy No, I guess the stick isn't exactly crucial, I just prefer it and wanted to see what was out there. Also, you're right, the jeep backseat does leave absolutely 0 cargo space.

The 2005 outlander was only 5 passenger. However, the Montero was up to 7, does anyone know if they came with a manual in that year?

I like sticks (hence the user name), but even I would not take a 10 YO Mitsubishi over a nice modern car just to get a clutch pedal.

    I don't think so.

Well, it's not like I am in the market for something brand new anyway. Of my current vehicles, one is a '96 and the other is an '05.
