Questions on a 2016 BMW X3 xDrive28i

Hi -

First time posting on this forum - I am currently driving a 2010 Acura RDX AWD Tech (145,000) and am looking to purchase a certified X3 - price seems to be a positive ($27,600) and has all the bells and whistles I'm looking for and a clean Carfax. What is holding me back from jumping into this is that the mileage (on a 2016) is 38,000 which seems significantly higher than I would expect. Any thoughts from this group if this is a valid concern? Thanks in advance for your advice.

I wouldn't say that's significantly higher. The biggest drawback is only 12000 miles of original warranty, before the CPO warranty kicks in. Do you know the in-service date, and when your warranty will actually expire?

Of course, I don't know the level of options on that one, but I agree that it looks like a pretty good price for a CPO unit.

I wouldn't sweat the mileage on this car right now but I'd take a real close look at it around 80,000 miles and see how it's behaving or what needs it might have. If the price seems good to you, that's because the mileage has already been built into the equation.
