I got 12K miles per year on my latest lease, and I've averaged 6000 miles a year. Got too many, could have saved a few bucks by going with 7.5K.

I understand. As I’m getting older in age I guess I put less and less miles? Definitely will not drive in la traffic unless it’s for work. But my last lease was at about 18k with 6 months left on a 36 month lease (car was totaled) and the car before that was at about 11k about 18 or 19 months into the lease when bmw bought it back and offered me a new car for cheap. So I think I can do the 7.5 and buy some prepaids on the last year if necessary. Unless there’s zero savings then I’ll just stick with 10

The difference is 1% of MSRP

On a $70K car that's $700 for 7500 more miles (10K vs. 7.5K)
Pretty cheap insurance, in case your needs change.

I understand though... I drive so little, that I can't justify the car payment on a new car.

Hi! I was curious to see if you think this is a good deal that my local Jaguar dealer is offering. Zip code 91403.
The car is a 2018 F-type 400 sport coupe. The MSRP is $98,693 and they're offering the car for $65,990.
The lease they're offering is; 5000 down. 7500 miles/year. Residual 46% (it's 45% for 10k).
money factor .0026
lease payment 689 + tax = 757.

Under $900/mo, with just first payment at signing, looks like a good deal for a $99K MSRP vehicle.

Especially for a car with no lease support.

I wouldn't pay that much upfront. First payment and DMV (about $2000). Payment would be around $849/mo, then. (assuming $5000 is the total amount Due at Signing, now)
