    You are responsible for the last two payments on your lease. It's possible there is some equity in the Escape, but I doubt it.

    And, FWIW, the 14% off is for purchase, not lease.

    Which engine are you interested in? 1.5T, 2.0T or 1.6 Diesel?

    You are correct, the customer incentive is a rebate, applied as a CAP cost reduction.

    I'm not certain about the lease cash, but from paperwork that potential lessees have shared with me, it appears that the lease cash is also a consumer rebate. (you know, if you can believe my brother-in-law.. )
