Can you please provide numbers for a 2019 Jeep Compass Limited 4x4 in MI (48322). 36 months and 12,000 miles /year.

Dealer has quoted $249.16 (which includes 6% tax) with zero down and $955.20 total out of pocket. Dealer says the $955.20 is first month, doc fee and tax on the lease cash. MSRP $30,940, lease cash $7,250 and residual $15,160.60. Employee pricing.

With that much lease cash, I'd assume the lease is not through Chrysler Capital.

Relative to MSRP, that's a great deal.

The lease numbers I was given were through US Bank. MF .00150, residual 49% and $695 acquisition fee. Fairly new to the leasing game and all the numbers involved. The dealer told me that the Chrysler Capital numbers were not favorable but never provided them to me. Am I correct that the Chrysler Capital numbers are in fact better and I should ask him to re-quote using Chrysler Capital?

Well, the incentive on the US Bank program is a lot better - the software the dealers use will generally use the program that generates the best payment.

But, can't hurt for them to run it with the Chrysler Capital numbers, just to compare.

Yesterday bought a 2019 Jeep Compass Altitude FWD. Tried to help my daughter but in the end all I could do was call at end of day and say if they could knock the quote down from $405 to $395 per month she would do it... which they did and she did. She was super stuck on one exact particular model, which was latitude with black on black on black... all the chome parts and wheels are painted black.

Zip 92651 which has tax rate of 7.75%... not sure what CA state wide tax is.

If this is through Ally, we don't have their program information to corroborate what the dealer has given you.

Not a great deal, but the Compass has an OK lease program, so not absolutely sure you could have done much better.

Add 1% to residual for 10K/yr

The incentive differences are mostly regional, though they could be trim-related, as well.
