    12k/39 they gave 56% res and a MF of 0.00225 (I will ask for .00125)

    I got 7390 in rebates, I also qualify for the educator. I feel like there are more rebates available but they are holding back. They would not give me a list of rebate.

    MSPR was 47250 (Res 26460)

    Supply price was 42172 - 7390= 34782 (Add 1112 for my remaining lease payments and 719 in fees) = 36613 (negotiated price)

    36613 - 26460 =8322 / 39= 260.33
    36613+26460= 61242 * .00225 = + 141.91
    402.24 * .0625(MA Sales tax) + 25.14
    + 25.14
    Total payment 427.38

    They kept quoting me 464 ????

    What am I missing

    I walked out, felt like there was something wrong

    I knew there was more in that deal. Requesting the base money factor is an easy way to reduce my payments without adjusting my negotiated price.

    I am trading out of the lease because my miles are up. I have two options, keep driving and just pay the miles at the end (which is probably the smartest thing to do) or trade out.

    I know the 18 and the 19LDs are priced aggressively right now and that is where all the incentives are so I wanted to take advantage of that. If I wait, I know my educator discount will still be there but not sure what the incentives will look like.

    If I get this lease down to 360 I will be paying 30 dollars less than I am currently paying.

    Are there other penalties with ending my lease early? what benefit does the dealership gain by taking my car early? Should I put more pressure on them for my trade? They would not tell me what my car was worth, I asked several times for my trade value and they said it didn't matter because I owed the difference. I told them that the trade value may decrease the difference I owe.

    The dealership I went to yesterday is closed on Sundays, I will call tomorrow.

    Yes, you should absolutely understand all the numbers in your deal, including the trade value. You should research some of this yourself - call the bank and determine what your payoff is, then head over to our in house thread where you can get feedback on the trade value:

    Knowledge is power. Dealers don't want you to have the knowledge, as it reduces the amount of power they have in the negotiations.

    Hello - I'm new to these forums and am trying to figure things out by reading a bunch of old posts, so pardon my ignorance, but I have a couple quick questions on how things work.
    When you give #'s on RV, MF, etc. by zip code, where are you getting those numbers from? If I were to use them to negotiate I'd just want to know where they came from.

    A secondary, general leasing question. I've never leased before but want to lease a truck. What are some good negotiating strategies?
    Do I negotiate the cars MSRP to a lower first, then use that for lease terms?
    Also, when Chevy offers lease deals (Lets say 389 a month for a LT Double Cab or something) how much lower can I realistically get a dealer to go? Will they tell me the #'s are set by Chevy itself and thus there isn't much room to negotiate?

    Sorry for the rookie questions but the info on these forums has already helped me a TON! Thanks!

    The numbers are GM Financial numbers
    I can't tell you where they come from. ;)

    I like to negotiate selling price first, but it's good to let the dealer know from the beginning that you want to lease. No point in having them deduct purchase incentives that you aren't eligible for.

    Ad prices are just ads. Usually, you can beat that deal, assuming you read the fine print, and take everything into account.

    Dealers are likely to say anything. In that respect, lease is no different from purchase.

    I asked for Custom Trail Boss earlier and it was .00176 and 65% residual. Does it change going from Custom Trail Boss to LT Trail Boss?

    Afternoon guys, have the residuals changed mid month? I see some 64% & 65% for 36/10 on a crew cab RST 4x4. The numbers I had showed a 58% base for 36 months and a 3 point increase for 10k. Could I get an update for 29575? Also MF, I had a .00203. Thanks a ton
