2018 Mazda CX-5 Price Deals and Buying Experience

Here is what I received from an eprice request for a Mazda CX-5 Touring AWD in MA

MSRP: $28,510
Manufacture Rebate ($500)

Eprice $25, 969
Doc Fee: $499
Total before taxes and reg $26, 368.

I asked for an eprice from about 5 places. A followup email says this is the lowest they will go after I asked them to match a $25,900 offer for a Honda CRV EX AWD.

This is the first price I got in the same area as the Honda CRV-EX AWD. It looked like I wouldn't get close to it at first, so at least I can consider it now. I think the only thing the CRV has included that I would like is the remote start. You add in the remote start and I am still looking at about 800 more for the Mazda even though the MSRP is about the same.

Any feedback? Thanks.

Seems like they are taking back your rebate with that big doc fee.
(also, your numbers are off by $100).

$2000 off MSRP seems to be the average discount we see on the CX-5. Of course, the doc fee makes your actual discount about $1500.

With the dealers trying to get rid of the 18s could it be too much to go in at 25500 on a 18 CX-5 Touring msrp of 28300. I have seen some dealers in my area (84020) that have 500-1000 insentive.
