Lease vs Purchase Audi A5 Sportback Premium Plus

Looking to purchase a new 2018 Audi A5 Sportback Premium Plus:

MSRP = $53,375
Dealer Discount = $5,337
Manufacturer's Rebate = $1,750
MF = .00235
RV = 55%
IL Sales Tax = 8.25%
36 mo/12k mi

Lease quote from three different dealers is identical at $775/mo which to me seems like a horrible deal.
Or I can purchase for $48,035 after discount and rebates plus tax and borrow money at 1.99% for 36 mo or 2.19 for 48 mo which seems better than leasing with the high MF.
Or I can wait for the 2019's and hope the RV go up and the MF goes down.

Based on the three options above, what are your thoughts?

Thanks

    Thanks Michaell. I’m thinking a purchase is better as well. Would you recommend taking the deal above as a purchase or wait to purchase a 2019 for better residual when I go to trade it in?

    Whatever you gain in trade-in, you'll pay for upfront. I'd try for the lowest price on a 2018, now.

    To get the rebate($1000), you must finance/lease with AFS. So, factor that in to your Math :)
