Crossovers - Any with middle seat fold down?

Hi there,

In process of buying a new crossover. I am looking to find out whether there are any crossovers that have a middle seat fold down? The reason I ask is that I want to be able to put four sets of skis in the vehicle by folding down the middle seat while two people can sit in the back comfortably. Most vehicles (such as the CRV I am currently considering) only offer a side seat fold down, which does not allow for two adults to sit comfortably in the back. The other option is to buy a roof rack/box but that comes with extra cost and work in continuously taking it on and offer.

I can't personally think of a CUV that meets this criteria. If you are planning a 3-row with that much room, you're probably looking at a Suburban-size/Expedition size vehicle. So, 7 or 8 people + skis? That's a tall order for interior space.

As for the "work" of a roof rack, you're probably only talking about a few hours in an entire ski season, right? Doesn't seem like a bad trade-off for not having to bear the expense of an extra-large vehicle.

Thanks for the comment. I did a bit more research and it's called the 40/20/40 split. Looks like at least Nissan Murano, Cadillac XT5 and Mazda CX5. Any others?

Subaru Ascent can be had with captain's chairs in the second row. That might work?
