We are looking into leasing a 2019 Toyota Highlander XLE in the Boston area (Wellesley or Norwood). Our only must haves are captains chairs & leather interior.

Looking to research the money factor (MF) and residual value, along with any additional helpful tips.

What lease term and how many miles per year?

AWD.

Either 24 or 36 month lease is good for us. Ultra-low mileage - 12,000/year.

We have our "best offer" from our local Toyota Dealer (Norwood, MA 02062) on a 36 mo, 12k/yr lease.

For a 2019 Toyota Highlander XLE - V6 AWD (no options, just leather & captain's chairs):

$42,044 MSRP
$36,321 dealer's "best" sales price

For $2500 down (including ALL fees/plates and 1st mo. payment [not sure how fees are broken down])
our monthly payment would be $332.89

Should we take this deal?? Can we go lower? If yes, how?

That is a good deal.

Would be good to know the exact breakdown of the $2500 due at signing, just to be safe.

Only way to improve on it would be to better their "best" price.

Thanks!! We signed our lease this morning and got an even better deal than anticipated!

After sale price was negotiated and we were close to signing, I noticed them trying to use a MF of .00125 which was higher than quoted. After pointing this out (and a lengthy internal battle between managers) they could not offer the .00100 MF but instead had to roll down our sale price even further to $35,585!!

With $3k down total today, our monthly payments are $301 for a 36-mon - 12k/yr lease! We are thrilled.
