I’ve had good luck with the 4 Hondas I have owned.
Had very good experiences with all of them.

Why so many Hondas? Well, before that we'd had other brands, including a 1987 VW Jetta and a 1988 Oldsmobile 98, both of which we'd gotten used, and both of which were quite unreliable and often in the shop. My wife and I were ready for reliable, and so far our Hondas and our one Acura (knock on wood) have always been that.

Just made an service appt. for Dec. 28th. Hope they have the parts for it.
This would never work for the US market in its current form, bc it's too small and underpowered. These Kei cars in Japan are limited to 64 horsepower, which means that 0-60 is about 17 seconds.
But I wonder if for a price that was ⅓ higher a car ⅓ larger and more powerful might work. Probably not, since the most similar Honda to this sold in America was the Fit, and it wasn't exactly a big hit.
Still, it seems like an interesting concept to me, if unrealistic, to have something about the size of a 1975 Civic, but actually more roomy and practical than even that car was.
The least expensive 2-wheel drive N-box lists for c.$12k. The loaded AWD N-box is c.$15k.
The N-box gets c. 50-60 mpg combined.
comparisons...
1975 Civic Wagon length: 160 inches width 59.3, height: 53.5 inches, weight. c. 1800 lbs, 53 hp.
1984 Civic Wagon length: 157 inches, width :64, height 58.3, weight c. 2150 lbs, 76 hp.
2010 Honda Fit length: 162, width: 66.7, height: 60, weight: c. 2500, 117 hp.
