Michaell, ty much. I don’t live in city, suburban Cook Cty. Given THAT and if I can get MF to .00177 would you then do lease or still buy? Have great wknd

Assuming your upfront is the first payment, plus sales tax, plus DMV/dealer fees?

If I add the $925 acquisition fee to your "Selling price", for an adjusted CAP of $36,925, I get a payment of:
    .00177 MF = $415/mo
    .00217 MF = $439/mo.

That's not too far off their quote of $455/mo. with the marked up money factor.

That is a lot of assumptions, but if it were me, I'd look for $415-$430 per month, with that same amount upfront.

If the acquisition fee is included in that upfront money, then they are way too high.
And, to be clear, it looks like their "Selling price", is after they deduct the rebate.

MF is marked up the max allowed (base rate is .00177)

You live in the City of Chicago? You'll pay roughly 17% in tax, between the state and the city.

Would make me seriously consider a purchase, instead.

Hi, can someone advise if this is a good lease deal ?
2018 X1 xDrive 28i Loaner White color with Black interior
    Miles on the car: 4342
    MSRP: $43745
Sales price: $36978 (15% off MSRP)
    Rebate: $3250
    Acq Fee: $925
    Dealer/Gov Fee: $632
    Residual: $24850 (56.8%)
    Money Factor: 0.00217
    With $2040 DAS, $397 per month for 36 months/ 10K miles at zip: 02138

I feel MF is more than what I was told (0.00177) on this forum. Any suggestions on what should be a good deal on this loaner vehicle will be helpful..

    Thank you !

Do you live in the City of Chicago? If so, you'll pay about 17% tax on your lease payments between the state and city.

I would not put $3600 down on a lease - just first payment and registration costs only.

Have them rerun the deal with only $1000 due from you at signing, and see where the payment ends up.
