Assuming your upfront is the first payment, plus sales tax, plus DMV/dealer fees?DUGPHX said:Michaell, ty much. I don’t live in city, suburban Cook Cty. Given THAT and if I can get MF to .00177 would you then do lease or still buy? Have great wknd
If I add the $925 acquisition fee to your "Selling price", for an adjusted CAP of $36,925, I get a payment of:
.00177 MF = $415/mo
.00217 MF = $439/mo.
That's not too far off their quote of $455/mo. with the marked up money factor.
That is a lot of assumptions, but if it were me, I'd look for $415-$430 per month, with that same amount upfront.
If the acquisition fee is included in that upfront money, then they are way too high.
And, to be clear, it looks like their "Selling price", is after they deduct the rebate.Edmunds Price Checker

You live in the City of Chicago? You'll pay roughly 17% in tax, between the state and the city.
Would make me seriously consider a purchase, instead.

I feel MF is more than what I was told (0.00177) on this forum. Any suggestions on what should be a good deal on this loaner vehicle will be helpful..
Thank you !
Do you live in the City of Chicago? If so, you'll pay about 17% tax on your lease payments between the state and city.
I would not put $3600 down on a lease - just first payment and registration costs only.
Have them rerun the deal with only $1000 due from you at signing, and see where the payment ends up.
