    Hey everyone, new member here, hopefully I'm in the right place. I'm currently leasing a 2017 GTI and looking at turning in to lease a new 2019 Golf R. I just got back from a dealer who gave me these numbers:

    2019 Golf R automatic with black rims
    Location: 48128
    36 months / 10k miles
    $850 down
    MSRP $42,959
    Selling price $41,342
    MF 0.00196
    RV 62% ($26,635)
    Monthly $596

    The selling price is broken down like:
    Invoice: $39,835
    Roadside kit: $75
    Rubber mats: $185
    Black alloy wheels pkg: $202
    Destination charge: $895
    Local marketing assessment fee: $150
    Total: $41,342

    I'm wondering a couple things:
    Is it possible to get them to wave the destination and local marketing fees to get the selling price down to $40,297?
    They told me that VW doesn't allow MSDs but I've seen posts online saying they do. I want to put down 10MSDs and drop the MF from 0.00196 to 0.00146. Anyone know if this is possible?

    We don't have any solid evidence about MSDs for VW. Check with multiple dealers and see what they tell you.
