Thank you so much! So, is the money factor inflated because I have read through these chats a number of .00165? What points do I make to get it down to that from .00195?0 -

"I want the base money factor of .00165. I'm not interested, with a marked up money factor".romo62 said:Thank you so much! So, is the money factor inflated because I have read through these chats a number of .00165? What points do I make to get it down to that from .00195?

The $2500 is positive or negative equity?
MF is marked up from the base of .00165

$2500 is listed as "net trade" so negative equity I think?...using the 18k trade for my 2015 e350 mercedes (same as carmax amount) as down payment so I think I'll only get check for 15.5K.
yes, I have been reading the money factor as .00165. Never leased a car so this is very helpful.
Paperwork says net cap cost of 49,714 (total cap cost of 55,714-net trade of 2500-rebate of 3500)
With that NET CAP, the payment looks about right.
Your selling price must be less than the $55714, as you have to account for fees (and in FL, those could be very high)
The money factor markup adds about $27/mo. to your payment.
To judge your price, you need a breakdown of that Gross CAP, so you can see what are legitimate charges, and what might be egregious.
And, of course, this is all predicated on if you think their trade-in offer is fair.
