Money factor and residual value for an GC Altitude 36 months and 10k miles per year ?

Hey all,

Sorry if the title is worded improperly but I am currently interested in leasing an altitude GC. The dealer quoted me a 399 / 36 month lease. Ive attached the sticker price. Any and all help would be appreciated.

Hey michael thanks for the reply! right now the price he said the car was is 39,025 and i only have to put 995 down.

Let's see...

MSRP of $43,525 less $5000 incentives = $38,525

If you are being quoted $39,025, then you are paying over sticker price.

I think you have some work to do, on the price.

I'd guess that is the selling price, before incentives.

Not a bad quote, relative to MSRP

from my limited understanding the 39,025 was with all the incentives he said he could give me. I’m pretty new to buying cars so I’m not too sure how I’d be able to get him to drop the price any further. Reading around this forum has offered me a few tips but I still feel a bit nervous to try and get him to lower it more.

If that were the case, your payment would be a lot higher. Just ask for a full accounting of the lease quote, so you know what you really have. Once you have all the numbers, then you can decide if you have any negotiating room.

So he went from 399 a month now to 385. I asked for the breakdown and he was like I don’t know what you’re talking about so I didn’t push it any further.

They know exactly what you're talking about - else, how could they give you a payment quote?

While the numbers are moving in the right direction, it's hard for us to determine if they should be better without the details.
