    I checked Tesla website. Select one car and click buy then it will show you lease rate etc. I am leasing in 2nd half of September.
    Currently following deal: M3 2019 Standard Range Plus Rear-Wheel Drive, 19’’ Sport Wheels, All Black Partial Premium Interior, Autopilot
    Est. lease payment $419 /mo
    $3,500 down, 36 months, 10,000 miles
    Lease after Est Savings $361 /mo

    If I lease Honda Accord or Lexus ES300H, it will cost me $500 to $600 per month with gas & service. That's why decided to lease M3 whereas M3 will cost $450 per month with charging cost.

    Is it the same amount of down payment for either the Honda or the Lexus? That $3500 equates to almost $100 a month extra on the payment, which makes it $519 per month.

    I'm not saying that the Tesla is a bad lease deal, but you want to make sure that you're comparing apples to apples.

    I just got off the phone with a very confused Tesla salesman. But maybe this will help a little for now but the "finance" guy is supposed to call me tomorrow.
    Looking at a Model 3 SR+ lease 3 years 10k miles a year
    39,990
    He claimed a residual value of 28,650.
    He didn't know but it appears that is the residual value of 26,775 + the federal credit added on top.
    If this is true this is a great residual value of 67%
    But seems to good to be true.
    I live in NY and we have an instant rebate of $2000. He didn't know if that was being added into the residual value... Hopefully tomorrow I will find out more.
    The money factor is not great .002125 but I'm hoping I can negotiate this down due to my credit rating, wishful thinking but I will try.
    My back of the napkin calculation with an estimate on the out the door cost of Down payment $2500 + first payment (395) + upfront tax (399) + title/reg (120) + paperwork fees (75). Alot of that is guesstimates.
