I have been speaking with a dealership in South Florida region, and they informed me that the RV only applies to “max” MSRP. Specifically, vehicle I’m looking at MSRP is 55,217, but the dealer said 69%RV will only apply to MAX 51,900 of the MSRP. Is this something you have knowledge of?

Also known as MRM (maximum residualized MSRP)

SETF is particularly bad for this. Most banks (including TFS) generally set their MRM at a level that covers 98% of the fleet. (Porsche is an exception). SETF tends to put their MRMs fairly low.

It makes for bad lease deals for higher optioned vehicles.

Thank you, do you know if they count the money factor where the dealership is located or where the customer lives? I'm surprised at how big the MF difference is between certain states.

MSDs with Toyota are only available on the Standard MF.

Subvented (discounted) money factor lease programs aren't eligible for MSDs.
