The dealer thought I was a little nuts when I was trying to negotiate that deal on the 2020 with the 2019 numbers!! LOL. With the $8000 upfront, it doesn't look like you are getting much of a discount, even after accounting for tax, acquisition fee, dealer fees, etc.

Also, just because you have trade equity doesn't mean you have to roll it all over in CAP reduction on a lease.
You could use $3000 of it for your upfront charges, and have them cut you a check for the other $5000.

But, this doesn't seem like a good deal. I assume you own the 2016? I'd keep driving that with a $540/payment, before I went for this deal.

Thank you for the reply. As I stated I'm new to leasing and it looks like I have a lot to learn before i pull the trigger. I do own the 16. I owe $16K and they are giving me $30K. My current payment is $495. I did figure that the $8-9k down was a bit much.
