Can you provide MF, residual, and monthly payment. I wanted a 2020, but they say it's a few months out so I figured I could get a really good deal on a 2019. 7500miles 39 mo lease. MSRP is $46k, discount 7500 for $38535. Doc fee 150, acquisition fee 675, tax 487, non tax fee 192 for $40,039. Zipcode is 75093. Thanks

FWD or AWD?

Why only $487 for tax? Texas tax credits?

Yes, he said VW had a tax credit. FWD. At first he said $2650 down $533/mo. but then came down to $2,000 down $515/mo. The MF he gave was .00275 which at 6.6APR sounds like a rip off. Residual was $25,319

I didn't think the dealer could mark up the MF that much; they could be using a lower tier MF to start with, then marking it up, until they run your credit.

If you have top tier credit, tell them you want the base MF, or you'll find another dealer.

Thank you. Where does this information come from? Could I take to show the dealer that I know he is ripping me off? The residual % he gave me is 63%, could that be why he is raising the MF so high? What do you think the monthly lease payment should be? I'm at about 458/mo

It could be that the dealer is using a different bank - our numbers come from VW Credit.

Don't negotiate the MF - simply tell them you want the base rate or you'll take your business elsewhere. They know what the numbers are.
