I'd confirm that the "internet price" is valid if you want to lease. Most of the time, advertised prices are for purchase, and assume purchase incentives are in play.

2020 CX-5 Touring AWD with the Preferred SV package. 33 months/10,000 miles.

Agreed upon value of the vehicle is $29,055. Gross capitalized cost is $32,522. I put $1,500 down and had a $360 rebate. I had $1,000 of negative equity rolled into this lease. Adjusted capitalized cost was $31,062.50. Residual is $19,548.9.

Rent charge is $1,687.06. which I believe works out to be a MF of .00165 (31,062 * 33 months = 1,025,046, then $1,687 / 1,025,046 = .00165 if I'm understanding how to back into the MF correctly).

My payment is $400/month.

I'm a bit upset looking at the MF. This works out to $50/month in rent charges alone. I swear he told me a different number, but we were looking at 3 different vehicles so it's possible he quoted me the MF on one of the other vehicles.
