Hi, couple of questions since I am fairly new in regards to using these lease numbers.
    (1) The MF you provide, can that decrease based on excellent credit or is the MF you provided assuming the top tier credit?
    (2) The incentive dollar amount you provide, would those be taxed or untaxed incentives?
    (3) Should I be able to locate those inventives on the dealer/manufacturer websites?

    Thank you

    Hello there Edmunds Moderators!

I apologize ahead for the naivete I may display as I'm new here and my first time doing this.

Would you all be so kind as to provide me with the numbers associated with leasing or financing either a 2019 or 2020 Kia Stinger GT2 RWD or AWD. I believe the numbers I'd need are the Residual Value, Money Factor and of course any and all incentives associated. My zip code is 92507 but I am willing to travel if better deals are known or found locally to me. I also am simply seeking the best deal so in regards to lease term, I am willing to entertain all possible options but naturally, I'd like to see the one that offers the best deal. Any and all detail regarding these would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

We can't tell you the best "deal", because we don't know the transaction prices.

If leasing, 36 months is generally the best term.

    36/15
RWD: .00176 MF and 47% residual. $7400 lease cash
AWD: .00177 MF and 46% residual. $8200 lease cash

This car does not lease well, and purchase incentives aren't great either.

Are you seriously shopping or are you collecting numbers?

A good lease deal isn't all that good if you don't like the car you end up with.

Perhaps a few test drives are in order to find out what you really like.

Thank you so much for the quick reply kyfdx,

I appreciate the prompt and detailed response. A couple more if you don't mind.

I was under the assumption a 24 month lease option may present better lease cash. I heard you loud and clear about 36 months. Just didn't know if maybe I thought wrong or?

Also, in your opinion, are the lease cash options more advantageous than the current financing incentives Kia is offering. My research has shown that Kia is offering $3,000 off on 2020 with extra $1,500 options if you can provide proof of Kia Loyalty or Competitive Bonus. Also a $400 military discount (I unfortunately don't have the credentials for this).

    Thank you!

Yes, 24 month leases have more lease cash, but not a lower payment. The residuals are very low for 24 months.

Got it. Well thank you for this. Would you be kind enough to give me the same figures as before but in consideration of a 24 month term. The reason I ask because I am intending on leasing this car to maximize the incentives in hopes of turning right around and buying it out by securing financing for it from my CU.

    Hi,

Can someone please explain to me the difference between "lease cash" and "manufacturer incentives", or are they one in the same. I was able to locate a few manufacturers incentives located on the dealer sites but cannot find anything that is related to "lease cash". Should I be looking somewhere else for the numbers so I can present them to the dealer during the negotiation process. The reason I ask is because I was presented with the $6300 lease cash and don't know if that is a combination of manufacturer incentives and something else, I cannot seem to find anything that adds up to that for a lease.

    Thank you for the assistance

For Kia, the two terms are interchangeable.

To piggyback off this question. It seems like the $6,300 is a Manufacturer to Dealer incentive which can be used in negotiations to reduce selling price. Is that correct? Also, from what I've read, this $6,300 can't be combined with any other customer incentives (like Loyalty or Competitive Bonus) correct?
Is there a specific Model/Term/Residual/Lease Cash combination that seems the best for the lease?

Loyalty or conquest will stack on the lease cash.

The higher the MSRP, the larger the lease cash amount, in general.

Is there any other incentives that stack on lease cash? Are all these incentives instant in when they take place? They come right off the price of the car before taking delivery I presume?

The lease cash is the only incentive everyone qualifies for.

They are treated like a down payment in the contract.

    Hello Michaell,

I was actually at a Kia dealer earlier today and they said they could not apply the Conquest incentive to the lease cash offer of 9,300. Could you perhaps point me in the right direction on how to show proof that they can indeed stack as you mentioned earlier?

    Thank you!

Certainly. Will do and report back. However, what they referenced was that the terms state with the "purchase" of a new Kia Stinger and if you "lease" instead of "financing" that is what precludes you from being able to use it

Hi there, can I get the lease number (MF/Residual/Incentive) Looking for 36/10k in 03857 on these trims : Stinger GTS AWD Stinger GT AWD Stinger GT2 AWD

Are you seriously shopping or are you collecting numbers?

A good lease deal isn't all that good if you don't like the car you end up with.

Perhaps a few test drives are in order to find out what you really like.
A bit of both. I'm seriously shopping. I think my pick right now is an accord touring, but i'm trying to limit my exposure to people given the quarantine so I'm just figuring out what would be in the price range that I'm looking in out of the cars i'm interested it.

    I don't see a GTS trim level for 2020

    GT AWD - .00176 and 51%; $6300 lease cash
    GT2 AWD - .00177 and 49%; $8200 lease cash
