The dealer gets a $2525 incentive from Acura. If that is your only discount, they are effectively charging you full MSRP.

When I spoke to the sales person he now offered a $4750 rebate of some kind as well...does this help my cause?

Not a good deal.

The factory to dealer incentive is $2525, so you are, in effect, paying MSRP for this.

Negotiate a discount, knowing that the $2525 is not coming out of the dealers pocket.
