$599 doc fee and $249 VIN etch are just garbage fees.
But, it's the whole deal that counts.

MSRP is $25080 and sell price is $22449.

Haven’t seen the scratch but since they don’t know when the repair will happen they offered to get me a car from another dealership instead, same lease terms, same car.

Equals about $305/mo, with just first payment Due at Signing.

$2631 discount, but $1000 of that is coming to the dealer from Honda
+$599 doc fee and $249 etch, which adds no value to you.

I think you could do better (with the caveat that I'm not shopping for this vehicle).
Have you shopped any other Honda dealers?

I definitely wouldn't take the unit with the repair, if I could get a different one.

Of course, we are past the deadline for last month's program, but this month's program appears to be identical.
